The Southern Poverty Law Center ( purged from forum? )

        Nothing has been "purged" from this forum, Citizen1, but some discussions didn't port over to the new forum when we changed to Lefora.
        An explanation.
        The The Cocklebur first made its appearance, there were two separate (but related) areas running on two different platforms. Nick Charalambous' "The Cocklebur" column invited comments that were threaded by topic, and much of the discussion about the SLPC in the fall of 2006 - when Ron Wilson first ran for County Council - took place on that side. A lot of comments were "anonymous" - since that was allowed there. That portion of the forum (mostly) was not retained on Lefora.
        Every post on The Cocklebur (the open community forum) was ported to the new platform, however, and should be available. I haven't gone back to check, but if you did a search and found nothing, that search obviously missed something. I'll go back and check, but I believe we had several threads dealing with Morris Dees and SPLC, even though they may have been tagged as Ron Wilson threads.
         In any event, I'll repeat: Nothing has been "purged" from here. If anything has disappeared, it's just a function of changing platforms and passing time, not any deliberate effort by anybody. You implication is unfair, and I have to wonder why you would create a new thread just to ask a question based on a misleading premise.

         It seems to me that it's the "Search" function on Lefora that sucks, not the archives function.
