It's like a car wreck on I-85....You don't want to look....but....
Geez, Skydash, I'm really am going to have to go out and see a car wreck before I can get that song out of my head. To their credit, they did get a little better as the song went along and the attack of nerves faded. Who knows? Another 10 years of practice, and maybe ...
I do believe the younger of the two - the one singing harmony - is actually a hostage and not a willing participant. Her expression never changed, at least not during the brief times when my eyes and ears were uncovered, and she looks very much like our American hostages in Iran looked in January 1981 while they were participating in a press conference while surrounded by bad guys armed with M-16s.
At least they were willing to give it the old college try.
LMAO
I think the younger one was thinking .. "I SHOULDN'T BE HERE!"

Gosh, when was this video? In the late 80's judging by the hair style.-j-cousteau
Well, I would guess maybe last weekend at the local Church of God, but the young lady is wearing enough lipstick for three people so that can't be right. More likely, it was a few years ago at one of those evangelical churches where the pastor didn't get the memo that shoulder-blade length frizzy hair went out of style the day Stevie Nicks took the marbles out of her mouth and learned to enunciate.
Someone had to tell her she could sing. Bless her heart. She sounds better than I do. However, you not going to see me on Anderson's local city channel performing.
I bet it took that girl 3 hours and 2 cans of White Rain to fix that hair.
So pick on the poor girls for it. how nice. I thought this was the nice fourm???????
At lest they have the nerve to do it. how about the rest of you?
BTY Mr. Hankey knows he sucks so he would never put himself in that place!
untill the Vodka kicks in!
Ok so now i watched it. the camera man broke about every rule their is about camera edicit. and 80's girl. LOOK INTO THE CAMERA!
but still. takes christmas balls or screwdrivers to get up and do that on the TV.
Yes....this is now my all-time favorite video!! It's like "American Idol" rejects caroling in the disbled ward at the hospital. I'm trying to figure out how to make it into a ring tone.

And here I thought we were pretty good. I've seen worse on Sunday morning.I do hope you're just kidding, Confused. If that's anything more than an anonymous YouTube video, Skydash might have some 'splaining to do.
For what it's worth, I've heard worse in church on Sunday morning, too. By comparison, those two aren't bad at all. That's the kind of performance that used to draw me to "The Billy Dillworth Show" even when other things, like "The A-Team" were on other channels.
It's a little known fact that every Southern Baptist Church and Church of God is REQUIRED to have at least one lady who sings off-key and about 30 decibels louder than anybody else. Usually, though, she has blue hair partly covered in a flower-covered hat and sits right in front of you. If she has a daughter, the daughter will be in the choir, where at least somebody can hone the sharp edges off the voice and convince her she has the potential to be the next Amy Grant.
(Come on, now. Don't laugh. You know your church has one.)
The Lord did say we only have to "make a joyful noise." I think that this video does stretch that requirement. I feel sort of sorry for both women that someone dug up this video and posted it on youtube. It's like watching Republicans vote for tax increases.
