Double posts/double threads

In the past few days, we have had a persistent problem with double posts and the creation of double threads. I have talked to Lefora about this, and they attribute it to a slow server. The problem should be revolved, or will shortly be resolved.

If you get a slow response after you hit "SUBMIT" in the future, just wait until it completes. Do not hit "SUBMIT" a second time. If you get a "404 error" or a "Page not found" screen, close that screen. Don't hit the "BACK" key. If, after all that, you still get a double post, notify one of the moderators and we'll delete one of them.

Another annoyance is the lack of a breadcrumb trail on the "all topics" category. Currently the trail at top of this topic is "Categories>Site Announcements". I got here from the All Topics link.
To return to "all topics" (recently re named to "Anderson Talkzone Topics") you must click on FORUM and then ATT. If the site were fast it wouldn't be that much trouble.
Bad planning by Lefora?

Please fix Andersonretro's total mess. I think delete the thread(s).

Duplicate threads deleted, 1-Opinion - all six of them. The original thread stands, idiotic though it may be.

I have a feeling that was no accident.

Why did our forum lose its link to the Independent-Mail Webpage? And how can we get our link back?

I don't know, Art, unless it was something done on the AIM's end or just a mistake by somebody. The moderators here aren't totally in control, you know. Wink

There have been several changes to the appearance of the pages and to their functionality in the last day or two. I think Lefora's doing some upgrades, and that may also have had something to do with it. I'll find out for you, though.

Feel free to delete any of my duplicate posts. Sometimes I submit and get a blank page. If I go "back" and press submit again it shows up twice.
