I know a lot of people have said that M. Cindy Wilson is an embarrassment to our county, but she has done nothing to embarrass us like those two bozo's.
I am ashamed of their childish behavior.
I am embarrassed to say they represented us.
I feel sorry for their family!
How anyone could have voted for these two bozo's is beyond me. I was there, I was ashamed and embarrassed. It should not matter if you are a democrat or a republican. Stupid is stupid, regardless which side of the aisle you are on.

They do not represent us, that's why those two Bozo's were voted out and Greer. LOL Watch R Wilson make a slow turn around in a bid to be voted back in in 2010. I hope his district has a LONG memory.
I agree with you 100% WillieH. I have said for months that Bill McAbee is the voice of Joey Preston on county council. McAbee has had no regard for what is best for Anderson County. His votes, actions and voice always benefit the administrator. WHAT DOES JOEY PRESTON HOLD OVER MCABEE AND THE OTHER FOUR ON THE GANG OF SHAME TO FORCE THEM TO IGNORE WHAT IS BEST FOR OUR COUNTY AND ALWAYS PUT WHAT IS BEST FOR JOEY PRESTON FOREMOST? If the election for Council was today I would guess that McAbee, Thompson, Greer, Floyd and Ron Wilson would be lucky to receive 10% of the votes. Anderson County has never suffered the embarrassment that the Gang of Shame have brought to us. Add Joey Ray Preston and Michael Cunningham and we have the DIRTY SEVEN as the leaders that have stopped Progress in this county. The Dirty Seven don't have an ounce of HONOR among them.
You are soo RIGHT about that Prevail. If any of the SEVEN had any morals at all they would leave this County to never return or be heard from again.
How about Ms. Floyd being an embarrassment as usual last night? After their little plan to adjourn before public comment failed, she had to announce that she was leaving because she was tired. I think there are some other people in District 2 that would gladly take her job if she can't handle it anymore.
I think you will see Ms. Floyd gone in a few months for I have heard that she is in declining health and want be able to come to the meetings any longer, which means she will be replaced.
Mrs Floyd will be on the County Council to represent her constituents for as long as she chooses and we will all be there to support her.

I can understand your dislike of the council members that you have mentioned. It does seem that they are looking out for a "person" rather than the county. I was not able to attend last night, but I did see the man get removed from the council chambers. The news report said he was "making faces" at Chairman Thompson. It's obvious that Thompson hasn't been in politics very long.
While I don't know all the council members, I do remember McAbee being very respected among his republican friends. According to the people I have spoken with, he is way out of their favor. What happened?
Anyway, the news cast made Anderson County look like a bunch of rubes last night. Not just the man being removed, but also Thompson. I don't think I have ever met him, but from what I have seen on the news, it's probably best he won't be back.

We've been topical with removal/reinstating/re-removal of the Blue Laws, rescinding/re-implementation of taxes, Cater Lake, audits, ethics violations, witch-hunts over credit card "requests", and oh so much more.
The jerk-wad removed from a civic function for "making faces" at an elected official needs a lesson on manners, etiquette and proper place for the ugly face. What he was successful in doing is making citizens of Anderson look exactly like what we represent ourselves as: a bunch of dumb-asses.
