As a close observer of Anderson County government, I strongly believe that choosing Mr. Michael Cunningham as the New administrator was a wise and appropriate choice. He is the right man, for the right job, at the right time.
Mr. Cunningham has worked tirelessly for Anderson County, while allowing others to claim credit and enjoy the limelight. His work extended beyond county government, to include many charities and business organizations. He has displayed a compassionate, humble attitude, while possessing great knowledge and sound judgment.
In my personal dealing with Mr. Cunningham, he has always answered my questions fully and honestly, and he never failed to return my phone calls, knowing that I am only an interested resident, with no special social or political power.
Mr. Michael Cunningham is well respected, trusted, and admired by all who worked for him and with him. As the New Administrator, he would bring a sense of continuity to Anderson County Administration, along with a spirit of fresh start. So, for the sake of our community’s future, I hope that everyone concerned citizen and official will support Mr. Cunningham’s opportunity to serve all residents.
