With the economy as it is, and local politics being in it's current downslide & continuing, past mediocre attendance, even with cut-rate tickets and fake managers, means the likelihood of ANY sports venue seeing Anderson as lucrative is about as likely as WAIM promting Obama commercials.

I will say that Anderson really supported the Anderson Braves back in the early 1980`s and the Joes at first.... I think that Anderson has showed that it has support for minor league baseball,,,, but, it just needs to make the support more steady...
Times have changed, and the only thing Anderson really supports is sports in OTHER towns ( clemson, Columbia, Atlanta). ANderson needs a semi=professional sport like drive-by shootings, tagging made simple or meth lab 101, cuz thats the primary ideal working behind the scenes here.
Hey........... Why SO negative?????? The Anderson Joes were packing the house- less than 2 years ago!!! Anderson is a beautiful city!! Anderson does need a pro baseball team. Anderson has alot of great things going for it! Why are you so negative?? Do you actually LIVE in Anderson? If you hate it so much, why don`t you move? If you live here, this is your town! Try to improve it instead of trashing it! Anderson is one of the best places to live in the USA! Go out on the town and FEEL the warmth and beauty!!!!
