Is Rick Driver Morning show on WAIM-AM 1230 a comedy show????

This is to all of the mods. I support moderation on the forum. But I think things are starting to get a little carried away.

If you ban someone for saying "Bite me", what would you do if someone used the lyrics from the very popular country song "Kiss this"? I read the postings several times. I know you will disagree but I thought yankeefan's and prevail's post to ibvirginia was a joke. I did not see any malice in it at all. I mean look at his/her wording. It was a play on words from a previous post. Besides most of the exchange was with prevail. So how do you ban yankeefan and not prevail. (I don't think either should be banned.)

I also think this banning someone until they grovel to the moderators is overkill. If you collectively think someone has crossed the line a bit, give them a warning and then give them a 3 day timeout with an automatic re-instatement. Then if they continue to transgress ban them and make them appy to come back.

Just my opinion.

One more thing I would like to say as long as I'm climbing out on this limb. The detailed explanation of how the moderators were picked pointed out the fairness of two liberal, two conservative, and one neutral made up the group in charge. I would point out that every one of those chosen are at most pro-Preston and at the least neutral-Preston. Most of the posts on this forum now involve the pros and cons of JP. Don't you think in fairness someone who does not agree with the five of you on JP should be included?

Sure, than after we fix the pro/con Preston balance we can tackle the pro/con NASCAR, Obama, Rick Driver, Sales Tax, Property Tax, AnMed Health, Moderation.

Really, there is only one we to be fair. Zero moderation. Heck, with all the shots I've taken, if I can handle it, anyone should be able to.

I would say that the old Matt and Bev Show onn WRIX-FM was alot better that the Driver show on WAIM-AM 1230.

Neither show helped Anderson, but Matt and Bev didn't spread lies and did much more good than RD has ever done.

Republikin, I don't think those quotes were aimed at you. I personally never thought of you as a "weak man" or as a "conversational cripple" - although you do sometimes talk with a limp. [image]

I really don't care if the quotes are aimed at me. The point is, anyone can quote some one else and try to act intelligent. Most quotes are over-rated, and often mis-applied. Like this one. "A man who can only talk through others, has nothing to say." Republilkin 2008

Some days I feel like I do. Not today though. This is a GREAT day ! I smiled all the way through the Rick Driver call-ins today. What a bunch of sad-sacks.
Of course, Rick was at his worse and Stanley called in dumb-founded because our WJ sluth reporter didn't have a clue what was really going on.
