I listened to the Rick Driver Show on WAIM-AM 1230 this morning! I haven`t laughed so hard in 30 years!!!! It must be a farce-or comedy show!!! Some of the callers sounded like characters off of "Green Acres" ot "The Addams Family". I swear that Rick driver sounds like a certain Carolina Beach Shag Oldies d.j. that I used to listen to. Is this show for real??? Driver seems like he next will be talking about U.F.O.`s over Anderson!!! I think that Jpey preston should show up at WAIM-am STUDIOS and bend over and ass Driver to kiss his butt!!!!!!!! Very funny!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thing about being an ass-kisser, there's no minty aftertaste to take away from what you're doing.
Careful listening to that show buddy, there's something being transmitted over the airwaves that.....well you get the picture!
I've always thought the characters who call in to the show are funnier than the characters on Johnboy and Billy.

I think that this poster really misses the boat! So let`s see, if someone is a veturn of the US military, then that person has a "FREE PASS" to say whatever he/she wants without being able to be criticized about it????? Sir, you MUST be kidding me! Is something wacky in your orange juice this morning. I all total respect for all Veterens. They are all hereos in my eyes. However, your arguement that Military Veteren callers to the WAIM Driver show are not to be criticized is just plain silly and wrong. These brave men fought from FREEDOM in this country. They didn`t fight for this place to be a communist Country. If ANY callers to a radio show say silly things, it has nothing to do with their past Military Servive-PLEASE!!!!!!!! It is too early in the morning for me to be laughing this hard. I guess if a military Vetern commits murder, we should just ignore it because that person is a veteren.

Sir, I know J.D. Hayworth. J.D. Hayworth is a friend of mine. I can assure you, I am no J.D. Hayworth. 
For starters, he's a graduate of N.C. State (Moo U.-Raleigh), while I graduated from Clemson (Moo U.-Clemson.) He played football and had to give it up when he got his neck broken. I ran around with wild women and had to give it up when I got slapped. He was a hotshot TV/radio celebrity in Greenville. I was a lowly newspaper sports editor in Anderson back then. My scores on Galaga at the Zorba Lounge in Greenville always beat HIS scores. He left Greenville for Arizona and became a Congressman. I stayed in this area to do ... this. If I remember correctly, he preferred Heineken, while I preferred good ol' Bud longnecks.
Last, but not least, his moniker - J.D. Hayworth - is an abbreviation of his real given name (John David Hayworth.) My screen name - JDTippett - was confiscated from somebody else for my benefit. Maybe I should have run for Congress, too, only as a Democrat.

I was on the radio this morning ? Made a fool of myself ? I have no idea what you are talking about. What I do know is that YOU, RICK F. make a fool of yourself almost daily on the radio and regularly at County Council meetings. That kind of bullying went out with 5th grade. Grow Up!

Right on ! That's Fair, but sure to get you ridiculed on the Rick Driver show. Sorry, you won't be able to hear it because the signal barely reaches downtown Anderson from over behind the Fair Grounds somewhere.
Just one tiny point. You warned me and I took the warning. I just thought it should apply to all. You've covered that.
I don't know that JDTippett would ever get ridiculed on the Driver Show, Republikin, because he's never ridiculed the Driver Show (well, other than an occasional light-hearted jab or two.)
Besides, now's no time to be inviting ridicule. JDTippett may want to apply for the upcoming opening as Anderson County Administrator. From what I can see, it seems they could use some moderation over there. Or maybe that's mediation. I've done both. If it turns into hostage negotiation between Joey and the new Council, though, they'll need somebody else. This ol' sniper doesn't have the patience for that kind of frivolity.

I just saw my mistake. I meant to say in the last sentence "Rick Driver should know better than to let you dominate his show". I am not Rick F. whoever that is. I rarely listen to his show, but caught the last 15 minutes of the last hour. Of which you were whining.
Anyway, keep thinking I am whoever you think I am. I am not them. But you are you. And we all know who you are.
