Oh yeah JD,  BUSH put tons of people to work after 9/11.  Digging out the toppled Trade Center buildings, shuffling off to two wars, packing up all the companies that went to Chin. I mean the list is endless of all the economic contributions BUSH made to America since he took office!  And Wild Bill took over after the first  f**k-up BUSH version1 ran the show.  Something about senators from Texas.....

Don't take WYATT's word for it, His approval poll numbers can vouch for that.

Don't get testy with me, Wyatt. I was just asking if the unemployment rate that was hit this week was really the highest since the Clinton administration. You didn't answer the question.

I have a question about lthat 14-year jobless rate. If I subtract 14 from 2008, I wind up with 1994. And 1994 was the second full year of the Clinton administration.

Does that mean the jobless rate during the first seven years, 10 months of the BUSH Administration has been LOWER than the rate Mr. Clinton achieved during his "booming economy" years?

You are on your own here Wyatt, 14 years ago, I was still in school at Oakwood Christian School. but I would like to see an answer. I have always had a fondness for American History.

That was the information posted on MSNBC, which also does NOT include those who simply gave up looking for work, who's benefits ran out, who work part time and are not included in the figures.  I would imagine the numbers are signifigantly higher judging by foreclosures and bankruptcy rates ( also at a historic high)

"Yuppers, and I stand by it.  Getting paid for being illegally terminated" You just stand by that comment because you do not have the basic understanding of contract law. The attorney that is actually giving the "Personnel Committee" advice seems to disagree with you. He is using his law degree, his experience, and case law to do so. Until the new Council is seated, the contract will not have actually been breached. Please read up on contract law and anticipatory breech of contract to get a clue. If the new Council choose to put Preston on administrative leave while they conduct an audit, then he can file a suit.  The attorney representing the county would not suggest they wait if he did not have a reasonable expectation that his advise will stand the test of the courts. The county might be able ask for attorneys fees in the event the court rules with them; then the case will be at Preston's expense.

Again Wyatt, use the contents of the contract and some cases to give us more than a "I support Preston" as the reason for your personal opinion.
