News Flash: Legislative Delegation Chairman Brian White's house has not one, but two Marshall Meadors signs in the front yard. Good move Brian. You just secured my vote next time around.

Deepthroat, when I read your post a few minutes ago I got upset since I supported Brian and had his sign in my yard during his election. If fact, I got so upset that I hopped in my car and rode over to Brian's home at 2500 Edgewood Ave., which is only a couple of miles from my house. I rang the bell and a gentleman, Mr. Byce, came to the door. He has just moved in and does support Meadors. Brian White has moved to 'the other side of the park' per Mr. Byce. Mr. Byce is a very nice gentleman but just misinformed. Ha.

So, now we have the rest of the story!

My bad! I didn't know Brian had moved. Thanks for nipping that nasty little rumor in the bud. Oh well, looks like Mr. Byce is a good addition to the neighborhood though.

The reason I noticed this topic is that a Bryant sign nicely appeared about 10 ft from my mail box today.  A really strong wind will keep knocking it over, so if someone would like it... I was not for either candidate but I have a severe problem with political signs in my ROW that I didn't approve.

I like that Privy, but unless you were doing business there, how would you know where I live?  Guess my prices were too high for ya and I'm selective.  I also guess something I said must have bothered you,  I'm sowwry. (BTW I have balls so I've already said on here where I live- I have an extra pair if you'd like to borrow them.)

Deepthroat, other than the obvious difficulty of countering left-wing spin and lies coming out of the Meadors camp regarding Bryant's conservative social credentials, how is his campaign "struggling?"

That deserves an elaboration. Inquiring minds want follow-ups to National Inquirer headlines - especially headlines that appear over provably bogus stories.

Just because you say it, and fervently wish it, doesn't make it true.

JD I have spoken with a lot of people about these two candidates and you would be surprised to know how many people are unhappy with Bryant.

Probably about 40% of the electorate.  Bryant will get close to 60%.

When you are a candidate of a  party that supports abortion on demand, gay marriage, and tax increases, you are doomed in SC Senate 3.

Marshall Meadors is destined to loose.

Ok Goebbels . . .

How many times are you going to repeat these lies? I mean I can totally understand the mis-belief that your Yankees are a good team (* snicker *) and might make post-season play (* another year *). Based on that simple misunderstanding, I could totally see where a simple mind like yours is easily fooled and mislead by the Ricky Dribble crowd into believing what you believe about Meadors.

Let me clear the fog here and explain a few facts of life:

1.) The Yankees did not make the post season and in 2008, were not one of the great teams.

2.) Meadors' campaign does not include gay marriage or abortion-on-demand.

3.) Spreading lies and mis-information does NOTHING for your credibility.

Have a good morning. May you get out of the fog of mis-information.

The reason Meadors campaign does not include gay marriage and abortion-on-demand is that Meadors tries to hide these facts from the voters. Last night Bryant made it clear that he opposes gay marriage and abortion. Meadors tried to hide his platform by tying in gay marriage to just another 'unit' that deserves consideration. Meadors supports Hussein Obama and the Democrat platform which are buying every gay vote and every abortion vote they can get.
Bryant is the true American conservative and Meadors is the true Hussein Obama left-coast liberal. You cannot hide facts. Unless you are Meadors running for office.

Mister Wilson,

I knew you could tell the truth!! Laughing

I believe that's the first HONEST thing you've ever said. It's a shame I had to cut you off to keep you honest, but I suppose it is a start. Since, by your own admission, the Meadors Campaign DOES NOT INCLUDE gay marriage and abortion-on-demand, I will expect you to join the rest of us in voting FOR MEADORS in November.

sshm...I'm sure you meant to say "The reason Meadors campaign does not include gay marriage and abortion-on-demand is that Meadors tries to hide these facts from the voters."

Now we are together. Vote American..NOBama/NOMeadors in '08.

Meadors advocated "Gay Marriage" in 2006.  He was one of the 18% of Anderson county residents that voted against the marriage amendment.  How can you be that wrong about that issue and think you have a chance to win an election.

The reason Meadors doesn't make that an issue in his campaign (Gay marriage and abortion on demand) is because he knows it is a losing issue.  He is a democrat and the democratic party stands for the dissolution of the traditional american family.  they would rather advocate a "caring unit".  How impersonal.

Hmm ... well ...

In 2008, people seem to be just a TAD BIT MORE concerned about the following:

1.) Will my money be there (bank, credit union, 401k, IRA, etc) tomorrow? What about the next day?

2.) Will my employer(s) be able to pay me?

3.) Will the cost of gas come down to a level so that I can ride something other than a scooter around town?

It's called SURVIVAL. You can worry about two ladies or two men holding hands AFTER you have secured the three items above.

We've gone through this before. It appears I and others like me will simply have to continue to repeat what has been said over and over again: Yankeefan and Mistser Wilson/Prevail continue to make hay where there is NONE to be made.

I guess this must be asked at this point, since both continue to harp on it: Why so homophobic?

I had to leave the debate early so I only know what I read in the paper and second hand knowledge from people who stayed to the end. But it is my understanding that Meadors answers questions on those issues repeatedly and it was people in Meadors t-shirts who brought them up. How is that hiding from an issue? Prevail you say you were there, were you one of the Bryant supporters there that people in AIM commented on that could have taken an etiquette lesson from the students?

I did sit through Bryants stump speech and was left struck by two issues. How come last month in the middle of the Obama/Osama fiasco Bryants blog was his personal blog and "I am speaking as a citizen not a senator" and now he is touting himself as Kevin "first senator with a blog from the floor" Bryant? And he keeps saying he recused himselffrom the cigarette tax because he stood to gain medicaid dollars from it. Well doesn't he stand to make more money from medicaid if the tax is lower and people keep smoking? Healthy non-smokers don't tend to get a lot of presciptions filled and I could be wrong but I do believe a large percentage of his pharm biz is from home oxygen sales.

1.) Will my money be there (bank, credit union, 401k, IRA, etc) tomorrow? What about the next day?  NOT IF THE MEADORS TAX INCREASE IS PUSHED THROUGH.  LET'S FACE IT WE ARE IN TROUBLED ECONOMIC TIMES, AND MEADORS WANTS TO MAKE IT WORSE, BY INCREASING TAXES.

2.) Will my employer(s) be able to pay me?  NOT IF THE MEADORS AND OTHER LIBERAL DEMOCRATS HAVE THEIR WAY BY RAISING TAXES AND CONTINIUNING TO SPEND OUR MONEY LIKE IT GROWS ON TREES.

3.) Will the cost of gas come down to a level so that I can ride something other than a scooter around town?  MAYBE YOU SHOULD RIDE A SCOOTER AROUND TOWN.  IT WOULD PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT AND THE COST OF GAS WOULD GO DOWN BECAUSE THE DEMAND WOULD BE LOWER.  THIS WAY YOU COULD AFFORD THE OBAMA AND MEADORS TAX INCREASES.

I guess this must be asked at this point, since both continue to harp on it: Why so homophobic?  BECAUSE IT IS WRONG AND IT IS GROSS.  THINK ABOUT IT!  IT REALLY IS GROSS.
