I've heard some info this past week about the city police captain who sexually harassed a female police recruit, and that the captain was reprimanded for his actions. Now I see that the Chief may resign over this. Why? This makes no sense!

Basically the discipline of this individual was taken out of the Chief’s hands and it is speculated that he is tired of council interfering with the way his department is ran. Chief Brown is a good man; if this comes to pass it will be a very sad day for the city. We just think that we have dysfunction in the county, we pale in comparison to the city. Having said that I will also say that the residents of the city should be outraged and they should let their outrage be known. To use a JD-ism I don’t have a dog in this fight but I really think that the City Council, or at least certain members are very much in the wrong and I hope that the citizens finally call their hand.
bigbradleyp,You are jumping the gun, with your assessment of an internal Anderson City police, and City Council matter. You do not have all the fact`s and as you said,And I quote,You don`t have a dog in this fight,so wait until all the facts are uncovered, and all the decisions are made before you do the same thing that you accused me of doing earlier today. You are welcome to take this post anyway you choose,I could care less. This is not intimidation,it`s arrogance.
Watch out Chief Brown. The RIR crowd at WAIM will label you "KING" Brown and question everything you do.
