Poor Barak Hussei n Obama - he is probably wishing he had not made an off-the-cuff quip yesterday. His comment re: "lipstick on a pig" was thought hilarious by his audience, but has backfired on him big time this morning.
and another...
"The witch-trial hysteria of the past two incendiary weeks unfortunately reveals a disturbing trend in the Democratic Party, which has worsened over the past decade. Democrats are quick to attack the religiosity of Republicans, but Democratic ideology itself seems to have become a secular substitute religion. Since when did Democrats become so judgmental and intolerant?"
Never in a million years would I have made any connection between a statement like “lipstick on a pig” (Senator Obama was ridiculing the republican’s decision to all of a sudden become “the party of change”) as a derogatory reference to VP nominee Governor Palin.
I wondered where this connection came from and it occurred to me. Republicans have been taught (brainwashed maybe) to respond to and to draw specific personal conclusions from the meaningless buzzwords used by the party.
I would not be expedient to call Senator Barack Hussein Obama II (yeah it was his daddy’s name too) a ‘nigger’ in public, so instead he is called a ‘Muslim’ because he has a funny middle name and the party faithful all nod and wink because they know what it really means.
I am not trying to convert anyone here. It is a foregone conclusion that Senator McCain and Governor Palin will receive the electoral votes from the State of South Carolina. The unfortunate result is that the division, hatred and ‘win at any cost’ strategy of the Republican Party will once again succeed.
String, Rudy Guiliani asked a CBS anchor during an interview atthe convention where all the feminists had gone. He got no anwser. Here's the real deal on Sara Palin. she has Obama and the Democrats running agains ther and not McCain. And THAT is a tremendous asset in a VP candidate. there are 50 days left till the election, and everyone Obama wastes worrying about Palin is a good day for the Republicans.

Change the State and this too stands true for the Dems.
It's a play on WORDS. It's up to the voters to figure who to believe.
Large turnout of registered voters = good for Repubs in SC
Large turnout of YOUNG voters = good for Dems in SC.
It's like a football game. We watch to see if there is a 4th quarter fumble. No matter what the polls say, the games not over till the last vote is counted!
Now we have so many referees (News Media) that choose sides it's hard to get a true representation of the facts.(game)
They also taunt the candidates just as some here did in June, it takes a very focused candidate to stay on track, even more focus is needed by John Q Citizen to know the real objective of the candidate.
The People asked for change, they will get it with a woman VP who won't put up with the normal BS of Washington and if needed to I believe she could step into the top position with no problem.
Most households may be headed by the MAN, but in reality is run by the woman. :)
"Look, I think the issue is: What does Sarah Palin think? What does she believe? I assume she thinks and agrees with the same policies that George Bush and John McCain think," Biden said. "And that's obviously a backward step for women."
To him, feminism and liberalism are one and the same. Talk about a clue-free zone.

gp, that is the most self-righteous load of crap I have ever heard.Obama called conservative fundamentalist Christians bitter people who cling to their guns and religion, and you have the gall to call the Republican tactics divisive and hateful. The Dems fail in their Holy Grail quest for inclusiveness by failing to nominate a female for either of the two offices, then have the gall to mock McCain and the Republicans' decision to nominate a woman.

And trust the Dems and you to hear the word nigger where it hasn't been spoken.
The Republican party was the party that abolished slavery. Anybody remember Abe Lincoln? Now in recent years, their record on issues like affirmative action may not suit you and your political views. And that's fine. But to embue an entire political party and philosophy with having code words for other more offensive words is hypocritical and stupid. Just like whining about any political tactics being used by either side just fifty days out from an election. this is a knife fight in a phone booth, and McCain, being a real fighter, and not a community organizer, knew enough to take a pit bull in the phone booth with him.
String, I love it when men speak for women. You're right, that is a clue free zone.
This is an unbelievable quote from Joe Biden: "Look, I think the issue is: What does Sarah Palin think? What does she believe? I assume she thinks and agrees with the same policies that George Bush and John McCain think," Biden said. Say what?
"McCain criticized Democratic contenders for offering what he called costly universal health care proposals that require too much government regulation. While he said he had not studied Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton's health-care plan, he said it was "eerily reminiscent" of the failed plan she offered as first lady in the early 1990s.
"I think they put some lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig," he said of her proposal."

Yes Obama is a non-issue.
He already going back and getting another VP pick.
Think he will get another chance to change his mind when it comes to the security of the United States?
but get this.
Obama was Aginst Hillery befor he was for her!
what a complete joke lord Obuma is becoming.
HAHAHAHA!
"Obama was against Hillary before he was for her!"
Hankey, you've got to quit hitting all these home runs. You're going to wind up leading the Cocklebur League in hitting if you're not careful.
Hmmm. Wasn't it Hillary who told us for MONTHS that Obama wasn't ready to be President of the United States? What happened? Did she get a 3 a.m. call from Joe Biden? Or Howard Dean? What qualification for President has Obama gained since June, other than beating the lipstick off Hillary?
Speaking of whi- ...no, I'm just not going to go there. We'll save HillaryCare for another thread.
Yeah, she's really all about change

I could give a crap about the woman's personal life, but she is as crooked as a dog's hind leg.
And does anyone wonder why the media is making such a big deal about her? And Joe Biden gets no press?
It's because we all know John Sidney McCain is OLD.
Oh, and Camille Paglia is a partisan hack

I will look at that with an open mind.

The Baracuda scares the Poop out of even Hillery!
