And should I sue these jokers for damage and lost money? Sounds like tossing good money after bad.

Opinions?

That’s a terrible situation wyatt. Too bad you took it to them. You never know what you are going to get when you drop it off. Take them to court. You probably will not get money back or anything, but you can’t let them get off without some headaches for them. Most likely when they get the court notice they will close up and disappear. At least then no one else will get the shaft from them. Until they open a new one on the other side of town that is. Sad part is they probably never changed you jets the first time. Also Mr. Hankey would bet that the ruined crabs are all due to the bad work done to them.

Also thumps up for having the crabs enough to name them outright and not using shall rename nameless routine.

Take them to court if nothing else you might win and have them paying for the repairs that should have been done to begin with. As well as replacing the parts they broke.

I hate that you've had this terrible experince. From my perspective it seems as if no one takes pride in what they do anymore, and Buyer Beware tends to truly be the essence of 'quality and customer service' in the new millineum. I find it very disheartening and sad. Magistrates court will be about your only option, and predicated on personal experience, in cases such as these, unless you are able to concretely prove malfeasance on behalf of the vendor, the 'baby is usually cut in half' by the Judge. It's most unfortunate that our judicial system has come to this , but unfortunately it does tend to be the case. You may consider filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and of course do utilize your options in court. I am awaiting a 'trial' date on a similar situation and after $85 in filing fees, 60 days to serve the complaint, the defendant provide an answer, and many months since then I've yet to hear from the magistrate further to a court date. I had someone tell me once, 'The only rights you have are those you're willing to fight for' Pretty good advice.

I nearly don't want to give you this name because he is so very good and is already swamped with work.  But you want a good auto mechanic?  Bells Garage, Belton-Honea Path Hwy, just outside Belton.  Thomas Bell is terrific!

I surely don't put one drop of faith in ANY of our local magistrates making fair or correct judgements( well, maybe a small modicum with Judge Steele...)  but the remainder aren't worth the chair they sit in.   I've wasted filing fees and weeks of waiting time bringing to court videos/documents and photos of crimes against dorks guiltier than Lewinski's blue dress and ended up being FINED for bringing "evidence" to court!  Wouldn't waste money like that again here.   If ever there was evidence of backwoods justice.........Anderson Magistrates are the flag-bearers.

Better Business Bureau,  how's that gonna help anyone?  Nobody uses them, and they are staffed by folks little interested in resolution and more about sponsorship to keep the doors open.
