Are you seriously comparing the banning of Mr. Hankey from the Cocklebur with the Bush regime? I hope I am missing the sarcasm! Was Hankey the one banned forever or just one of the ones who had to take a week off?
And again, the melodrama is a little over the top. The "speech" everyone is so concerned about protecting was essentially a battle over who was the "most gay." Also, I think they will all but one be back in a week after they sit in the corner and think about what they've done wrong. I swear, my classroom is less trouble than this blog most days, and I can hand out demerits there!
Let's all let this mess calm down and then schedule a nice blog lunch where we discuss our options for moderation and decide, with input from our "owners," what would be the most fair while also being the most effective.

Virgina......Here is the perfect point that just helped me make.
1. Mr. Hankey only got prison in the sin bin for 1 week.
2. Mr. Hankey said he did not to his knowlege post on this so call who is the gayest blog stuff anyway are that is what really has him going.
3. With the evidence in had or lack of there of because Nick will not tell us, I have be believe that he was banned due to his statements he made about Rick Driver and Stan's radio show. Because those types of posts were the last I recall him making. That is also Mr. Hankey's belief also.
And Virginia......Mr. Hankey is sitting in the corner WONDERING what he has done. How can he correct his behavior if he does not know what was bad. This Banned system if flawed. Again I call an the Democrats and the ACLU to stand up and back MR. Hankey.
And another thing.......did you turn him in. I see that you want this to just go away. Are we feeling a little guilty?
As for the spelling.........I just miss reading MR.Hankey's post and thought you all do too.
Are you thinking that somehow Nick doesn't see what we post?
