Time for community moderation to begin

The ONLY way I'd support HANKEY is if he gets his crotchity butt out to the Homeland Park clean-up and sweats and toils like any other inmate on sin-bin prison work-release would.  Want time off for good behavior, thats the ticket!

And knowing Hank like I do from his lovely response towards community and God's work..........it's been nice having you around but so long pardner!

Luckily there's other blogs to play on. This one is too one-sided and uninspiring.

Wyatt, please do not leave.  I understand and often think why bother!  But this is a forum for discussing issues and if the reasonable folks in our area leave, who is left????

Queen,  I have to respond with this thought.  While I appreciate the singular plea to stick around, I think Nick is onto something.  I see that Nick C. has officially abandoned ship with this blog as well, As he said he would. If the creator of this blog feels there is no hope in it being  fun, open and placid, it's easy to see there is not room for those who disagree openly with those who'll obviously run the show from this point on.  This blog will turn into the "Straight Talk "forum that WAS on the AIM site months ago.  And look how that turned out once the 6 main users took control. Nobody else was allowed to post without abusive distain or caustic attitudes towards them.  And many, including myself, eagerly left it to die a lonely death.  Hacked off at the knees.  Do you believe that this "new" forum will survive with the insanity & incessant gobbledegook of Prevail, Hankey, Dumbuggy, VOR, or Janedope  dictating who's allowed to post here?  Have you not read how they respond to opposing thoughts here???  We're stupid Yankees, tree-hugging Liberals, or pedophiles, or satan worshippers, or some other derranged garbage.  Or have you not noticed that when they are online, outsiders are IMMEDIATELY Thumbs-downed no matter WHAT the post is about?  Some of the posts have actully been funny, informative or responsive to the topic at hand. Yet within minutes, bloop, gone!  As far as the selected moderators, well  JD will play along with what they say( he also hates Yankees and liberals), Pappy is too pleasant and non-confrontational to go against JD( bless his sweet heart, we love ya Pappy!), Virginia goes along with JD in lock-step, and Merrymac is a Council person in denial.....who do they go against???

I'll add that it is wrong to "BAN" people just because you don't agree with them.  How commie can a free forum be, and now it's supposed to be totally free of AIM-influence, right?  I don't let myself get defeated by their commentary and abusive nature, I just toss it back in SPADES......which is why I'll also join those like RINO in the banned-land.  I'll chime in when the time is right, otherwise enjoy the new/old/rehashed Straight Talk.

 My dear sir I can offer this for thought.  I've open, started and added to topic after topic since coming here two years ago.  I came here after putting up with the nonsense and abusiveness encountered in the Straight Talk site. Before going further,  YES, I was guilty of getting my panties wadded up by the six who ran the thing into the grave.  Yes, I was guilty of adding to the flames with my 102 octane yankee fuel.  But I will NOT stand by ONCE AGAIN with dorks like Hankey, Dunebug, Janedoo and several others who incessantly and endlessly attack and dispose of the thread-adds we put in, and those of others who add to this thing . All you have to do is watch when these fools are online and shazam, instant thumbs down.  Sure, I'll disagree right next to you.  But Angel & I  (  maybe I'll just speak for ME right now) have also taken up swords to fight alongside with those here, and for those who won't speak up for fear of one-or-another thing.  I am not going to shut up as Jane suggests, nor am I a backwards child molesting Yankee as Hankey suggests. JD has gotten on board with them as of late, and it was pointed out to us at a recent Council meeting ( hey, you'd be surprised how many citizens read this stuff) how JD reacted to several posters and degraded ANGEL & I, and they commented about that very thing.  JD went as far as saying we insulted him, his son and his military background, which is when we realized he lost his mind!  Still awaiting his apology for his mistake, and am sure I'll remain waiting for quite some time. Now there is a chorus of clones ushering in a new era of comply or die mentality. Pappy, if you read this blog frequently you'll see the VAST variety of styles, views and thought conveyances used.  Mine is just more in-your-face.  Want me to be more like SSHM, and write novelettes each time?

ANYWAYS......I can assure you I will not change much in of  the way or presentation of how I speak.  I'm 50 years old sir, and my spots are ingrained and solid.  Not changing how we feel about things in this stage of life. I say in real life what I say on this blog, or in council chambers( Gawd, if I only had more than 3 minutes...), or in school to some teacher who berates my child.  I may POSSIBLY tone it down, but only until some smarmy ass starts up with me being a homo, some sort of drag on their life, or some other negative when it wasn't necessary.  I for one am sick of Hankey's stuff, as are others, as was Nick C. and was temporarlily booted until Prevail prevailed.  Hank obviously has alter(d)egos here , the writing style is easy to discern,  as do others.  I encourage you and your team to forge an alliance with the ones who offer differing views, or else you just signed up for a blog of full sermons and not of  substance.  So I wish you well with the cyber-police thing.  It drove Nick to leave his "child" and seek God's help!   With that, as I said before I shall be calm till called out.  Then stand back because I won't hold back long my friend.  Just as in reality.
