I know I probably shouldn't waste my breath, but I've always been somewhat of a Cocklebur masochist. Also, I cannot believe I'm about to come to Zn's defense of all people, but...
It seems to me above that you identified Zn by name, whether or not that is his actual name I have no idea, but you attempted to. I used to post on this forum under my own name because I believed that anything I said should be something I should say with my name attached that that was the honorable thing to do. I still feel that way in some respects, but I had some one who was angered at my comments track me down, take a picture of my house, and send me some very nasty threats. All of this over the stupid Cocklebur. I left for a while because it scared me a lot, and I would be lying if I said that it didn't affect me even today. I was the kind of person who was always very open to the world, talking to people in line at the grocery store, etc. Now, I'm less like that. To this day, I check locks repeatedly at home. I used to keep my front door open for the sunshine, not any more. Whoever this idiot was changed me a little, and I don't like that. Recently I've started back posting under an alias because I missed my Cocklebur friends, at least the ones I don't see in person. There are some great people here of all different political views. I'm going on this long rant because I want to tell you, on behalf of Zn and all the rest of us that if you want to disclose your name and personal information, that is your right, but please DO NOT do so for the rest of us. This man has a family and children, and although he can be absolutely infuriating, I would not wish harm on him or anyone in his family for anything in the world. I also ask this of all of the rest of the Cocklebur not just you.
I know that obviously you take local politics very seriously and very personally, and I also think they are important, but I know somewhere under all of that anger there is a guy that could come hang out and drink a beer with me and just laugh. Can we see that guy a little?

Virginia, I understand what you mean about disclosure. I was disappointed that JDTippett, Rino and sshm published my name but I'm still here. Those three care nothing about others or privacy.
Prevail, I did not publish your name. I only noted, after you complained that one of your posts had removed (the second under a specific topic on the AIM news site), that if you're CWilson4, that post is still there. I believe CWilson4 is just another screenname, isn't it? Or do you have a really weird birth certificate?
There are enough things I can be accused of without having you accuse me of something I didn't do.
SSHM is the one who constantly refers to you as Mr. Wilson, just as Hankey refers to anyone he thinks might be Stan Welch as "li'l Stanley." Doing things like that is the mark of a bully. I'll stand up to anyone, anytime, but I really don't engage in outing people who prefer to post semi-anonymously.
Oh, and regarding an earlier post of Rino's, I was not the one who was talking about his "toolbag." I think somebody CALLED him a "toolbag" in an effort to avoid using a French term.

ibvirginia, you don't have to worry for me, he can have my name all he wants, I gave it to him, I know he won't do anything anyway. After the past few years of being sent to places like Yemen, Uzbekistan and Albania for work, his hollow threats sure as hell don't scare me or anyone else for that matter...

Thanks for the correction, Prevail. I'll take you and Rino and Zn on any day when it comes to political opinions and facts, but I value everybody's right to privacy - even Joey Preston's, as I've said many times here.
Nick- the exchanges posted by Rino are outrageous and have nothing to do with bettering Anderson County. Everyone keeps screaming about how embarrassed they are by county council and the reputation it gives Anderson County and yet this garbage continues on and on at every topic on this, the only forum we have to discuss and exchange ideas on REAL issues before us. This BS makes council's elected officials look like girl scouts.
I'm afraid you're getting ready to lose those of us who truly have an interest in discussing issues that matter.....what a shame that a few can ruin something that could be special for so many. I believe Ben Franklin said it best:
