Pappy, MT was easy to turn. All it took was him losing his job and getting his real estate license, both orchestrated events. Eddie Moore has a good job. Tom allen has a military retirement plus an additional income. Tommy Dunn, I don't know his circumstances. But IMHO, all three have something MT, Floyd, Ron Wilson and MCAbee lack - integrity.
But Joey Ray is the best I've ever seen at finding the soft spot and exploiting it,so I wouldn't count him out just yet. However, his lawsuit today would indicate a lack of success in finding any soft spots so far. Stay tuned, kids!

WPD, I saw the Fantastic Four movie on TV the other night, and Mr. Fantastic, Reed Richards, couldn't stretch as far as you did with your Burger king analogy. Funny little thing called an election changes an awful lot of the drivel you put out. A lawsuit trying to keeop something from happening instead of correcting it after it happens? If Joey wasn't planning to use our money to opay his lawyer, he'sd never touch this weak crap. BTW, how long are we going to use our money to pay his legal fees?

Jane, actually the people in 5 districts out of 6, so far, spoke and showed things must change. We should not forget that Bob and Cindy won by large margins in their districts against big money people and thousands of dollars given to Cindy and Bob's opponents by Ron Benedict Arnold Wilson. I applaud Mr. Preston for taking a stance for the employees of Anderson. This intimidation and badgering of employees by MCW ( with her hand stuck up Bob's hiney) on her grail-quest for alledged wrongdoing has reached the level of fascism. I for one would be happy to join the lawsuit bandwagon against this type of political muck-raking, which again has placed Anderson page-ONE for more adolescent nonsense.
But I wonder.......who will be paying the latest round of legal fees for this LATEST MCW lawsuit??????

From what I've heard, the motion requests that Cindy and Bob be required to repay the County's expenses to have the court tell them what they already know they should do.
TRIVIA QUESTION:

And for the record, what was it again that Bob and Cindy asked for that they did not already receive? The insatiable "quest for information" excuse has worn thin. What information do they still seek that has not been given them? The only thing I can think of is the legal fees that County Council as a whole voted in open meeting to direct Joey Preston not to provide to them under Attorney-Client priviledge.

I think it`s about time Joey Preston realized that his opponent in all this is the local Republican Party and WAIM RADIO, especially the Big Coward of the county`s show from 7to10A.M.Bob Waldrep and Cindy Wilson are only doing what they are told to do by these Political Groups and they have no interest in the average taxpayer and voter,their interest is only self serving,and to rid Andersaon County of any democratic opposition,so they can have their way with us,the voters and taxpayers.I say this Mr. Preston,it`s time you took the kid gloves off and did a little street fighting,with no rules.I think if you do this you`ll find most of your opposition are really cowards and will turn tail and run for cover.

As yes Michael, came in like the winds of change and then turned into a zombie too bored with the comments of the people to listen and too smug for his own good. The Dark Side took him - maybe we should have had an exorcism. Perhaps that's what they all need.
The current buyout cost it three years, plus severence and vacation & sick leave he has accrued if memory serves.

Does anyone know if Mr Preston will actually be suing Anderson County or will he be suing Ms Wilson and Mr Waldrup as individuals?
It appears to me that he would have to sue them as County Officials since they were acting as County Officials at the time. If this is true will Wilson & Waldrup be able to use county paid attorneys to defend them? If they are, will we have one county attorney working for Mr Preston and one county attorney working for Wilson & Waldrup in the same case? Will the county have to pay for two attorneys fees on the same case?
This county needs some adult leadership.
