Wow!Way off topic I admit, but these are the only two posts in the last four hours. This forum is dead, dead, dead! and it's dead because it never says anything.Sad, really, but this whole deal is a cliche.

I guess he's entertaining himself.  Me, I've had to resort to a certain radio station and small-town newspaper to get any real news of whats going on in this county.

We can't even rely on Art to bolster the AIM's crummy web forum anymore, it seems.

I think the gov. of Texas did the right thing but we will abide by the World Court if the liberals elect Hussein Obama as Pres.  Our sovereignty will only be a thing of the past.

I really don't see how we can blame AIM and Nick for what is happening on these blogs.  AIM has funded and Nick has done as good a job as possible with the likes of all of us.  The only way to have good clean discussions is to ban all the ultra liberals from posting.  Most Democrats are OK but I'm referring to the liberals that promote their anti-American agenda as some do on these forums.  They know who they are.

This post is in danger of being hidden; give a thumbs up to save it, or a thumbs down to hide it.

I no longer will defend your right to say anything you please.  Most of the ultra left-wing liberals have their roots in San Francisco, the cesspool of the USA.  I do not believe that the writers of the Constitution included communist, socialist, etc. as groups that should have totally free speech because most of the factions that are now destroying us were a non-factor in the time of the Constitution. 

Elliefant, if you consider yourself supportive to any of the groups that are trying to change what America has been for hundreds of years, then you can add yourself to my list.  Totally free speech, as in actual speech and actions, is completely out of hand and must be stopped before it's too late.

Check out the free speech going on in the cesspool city of SanFran at zombietime.com and tell me that you will support free speech as that in downtown Anderson.

Luckily there are plenty of people in the United States that do understand what the writers of the Constitution intended, and they will continue to defend Ellefant's and your right to say anything you please.

Note that free speech doesn't mean "without consequences".

So, stringcheese, I take it that you have visited the site I mentioned and that you viewed the parade in SanFran and you would support that same parade in downtown Anderson.  Correct?  After all, it is considered free speech on that side of the country so should we support it here?  There were no consequences for the participants as police stood around and did nothing.

Aw I can't pull up prevail's link. I hope it was a HUGE gay rights parade. I love those. You see prevail, I find those less embarrassing than say a SCV parade. It's all a matter of perspective. ;)

Please add me to your list Prevail.  Shut down free speech by all means.  Let's see you keep me from posting on this blog.  Thumbs down all my post if you want.  ibva is right: it's all a matter of perspective.  My perspective of you is pretty low.  As your favorite radio host likes to point out you demogogue all those who don't agree with you.  Maybe you should be the one not allowed to spew your vicious innuendos, stupid gossip, and outright lies.

And while you're at it Prevail, why don't you run me out of town on a rail after you tar and feather me.  If this is what Anderson County, the state of South Carolina, and the Republican (conservative) party comes down to then I want know part of it.  I know now what Bill Dees meant when he stood up and said he was ashamed to be a Republican.  Some days I am too.

Ellie, you failed to answer my main question.  Would you condone the free speech I hope you saw in the link I posted showing what is happening on a regular basis in SanFrancisco?  That is a prime example of the type free speech that I hate.  I am in favor of most free speech  but not what is going on in SanFran and some other places.  Take a minute, check it out and tell me again if I'm nuts for being against that, if you dare.

Virginia, I know the queers are here.  But tell me what you think of the parades the queers have, in the open, on a city street for everyone to witness.

Sodomy in the street is not "free expression" or "free speech" it's indecent exposure and committing a lewd act. Both also happen to be classified as a sex crimes, so those involved are sex offenders just like rapists, peeping toms and pedophiles.

Still, Ellie and Virginia approve of it but are holding back on saying they would approve of it on Main Street Anderson.  Sounds like a couple of hypocrites to me.  If free speech is OK in SanFran but not in Anderson then you should not say you approve of all free speech.  That's all I'm trying to get thru to them, but they are hopeless.

I'm sorry I wasn't clear. I can't open your link, but I would enjoy a gay rights parade right down Main Street in Anderson. That clear enough? I have only seen pride parades that did not involve any kind public sodomy and were respectful and fun, so if the one on your link has that, then no, I don't condone any public sex act. But other than that, I'll march right past the Whitner statue with them!

If you're talking about the pictures from the "Up Your Alley Fair", it wasn't a parade, it was a street fair in a cordoned-off area in the city with guards at the entrance. The author made it clear that what these people were doing was illegal in San Francisco but the police chose to do nothing about it.

No free speech issue to see here, so move along, citizen.

I'm sure elliefant and ibvirginia would not approve of criminal acts performed in public.

What they are doing is illegal here in South Carolina, whether it's between two men or a man and a woman, and sometimes the police look the other way here, too. You may even be able to think of an example of this in the city limits of Anderson in the last 2 years.
