I just had a chance to look at these links, and I have to say that I am kind of shocked. This man is a minister!? Whether or not I agree with him aside, I just don't think this looks good at all. I hate ministers in politics be it Jesse Jackson, Jeremiah Wright, or Pat Robertson. I think that looking after the souls of an entire congregation should keep them busy enough. The link to his church says that he wants it to be a church for all people, but do you really think a liberal Democrat would feel welcome at that church? I think people of faith should be more mad about this than I am. It's YOUR church. Ask for more from YOUR men of faith. If the goal is to "win souls for Christ," then how does this hatefulness accomplish that? I think Reverend Biermann needs to take a quick re-read through the Beatitudes today.

There probably is Drifter. and I would say number one on the list is McAbee followed by Wilson in a close second. Talk about petty revenge.

Hmmm! Petty politics? Revenge? Does such a thing exist in Anderson County? Speaking of petty revenge. Bob Waldrep's stated plan to hire an acting Administrator in January and place Joey Preston and Gina Humphreys (formerly Gina Smith-Dahle) on paid leave would smack of petty revenge wouldn't it? Bob and Cindy are VERY VERY close to Jacky Hunter, who is rumored to be their choice for "acting administrator". Man is it starting to stink around here.

That's funny! McAbee is no where on the list. He was defeated! Remember he got a whopping 39% of the vote and lost every precinct (including his own) except 1.
Bill McAbee is no longer a threat to the conservative cause. Nor is he relevant to the political structure in Anderson County.
He may get appointed to some piss-ant board in Columbia, but his political days are over.
And, trust me, it wasn't petty revenge. It was just plain revenge, nothing petty about it.
Ron Wilson is another has been. He isn't on the list either. Neither is Gracie Floyd. Both are totally irrelevant to any issue at hand. The list has virtually been purged on elected local officials.
Keep an eye on January. You will see a big difference and a lot of spring cleaning soon after.

So there really is no top 10 hit list. Just like there really is no plan to do a full "money in, money out" out. I would say that Ron Wilson called B.S. on Cindy and Bob.

It's the "Anderson County 10 Most Unwanted List", not hit list. I suppose Preston would hold down the #1 spot for most unwanted; Bill McAbee just behind at #2; Michael Thompson at #3; Larry Greer at #4; Ron Wilson at #5; Gracie Floyd at #6; Tom Martin at #7; Gina Humphreys at #8; Heather Jones at #9; Kelly Nichols at #10.
Woops, the list will have to be expanded to more than 10 to cover the Most Unwanted.
So, it's Mike Cunningham at #11; Bill Striewing at #12; Allison Schaum at #13; Terry Jones at #14; Amy Plummer at #15; Taylor Jones at #16;

Why Amy Plummer? She's nothing more than a groupie. Plus, Juan Brown took care of that. What I was saying is that McAbee, Thompson, Greer are gone. Who cares about them?

Juan Brown didn't take care of anything ... just like your Yankees there. Five and a half back with only 43 games to go before being eliminated. Sad ... learn to root for a winner.
'Ole Doc Brown has been informed that he overstepped his authority and does not have the power to either seat or refuse to seat individuals. Apointees serve at the leisure of County Council, within the prescribed term limits.
Oh yeah ... thats the ugly thing Mr. 1.21 Jiggawatts has managed to step around, until now. If you actually go back and look at the ordinance that he's so clings to, all you have to do is scroll up . . .
OOPS . . . Juan Brown has exceeded his term on Economic Development, and therefore, shouldn't occupy the seat that he holds and uses to "wield limited power" like some two-bit dictator. IN FACT KIDS, if you look at the board, as the rules are written today, there is ONLY ONE MEMBER of Econ Dev that is a MEMBER IN GOOD STANDING. Hint: It's not Doc Brown.
So, I and the rest of Anderson County wait for 'old 1.21 Jiggawatts and his band of term-limit exceeding appointees' to do the right thing and resign.

I am calling on the fine people of thecocklebur to vote down all of these filthy, vile and completey inappropriate obscene posts. Please vote these down in large number so that we properly register the disgust of this community against this kind of behavior. Given the inability to "ban" posters who offend our community standards, that is our sole but very powerful tool.
