they don't give a toss about Anderson, it's people, or the business within it.
as long as they see their name in print and get to shut people out at a meeting or two viagra will never be needed.

Interesting how now that the political show is on the other foot, it's all about power, Hanky. But when the five man voting block was to your satisfaction, it was all about progress for the the good of the county.Either way, the fact is that three, and possibly four, incumbents will be gone in January.That spells major change in the power structure in Anderson county. You can bitch and moan, and make all the usual crude, scatological irrational posts you want. But it won't change a thing. So your best bet is to start getting ready forthe 2010 elections and try to reclaim some of those seats.The Preston crowd got outsmarted and outworked this time, and to the victors go the spoils.

See Bob you answered your own question. It is a matter of perspective. And I too don't want to start a fight. We've already been whipped one time. I just hope your group now that they're in power will work with all the people of Anderson but it looks like I will be disappointed. And as for SSHM's post, I think he's trying to point out what goes around, comes around. The pendulum swings you know. It just seems to me that so far the new power brokers have proven that they can be just as mean and petty as the previous power brokers. There is no new thing under the sun.
