Dan Harvell repeats smear email
I recognized the sarcasm, PalmettoNative, and I countered it with a bit of sarcasm about direct lines to God and couple of (sick?) jokes. Let's not get personal here, my friend. 
(For what it's worth, I thought your comment was amusing. I was just trying to start a dialog. Took three days to hook ya, though, and I really don't like fishing that much.) 
Palmetto, Exactly which right wing republicans have forgiven and forgotten, those murderers. None that I know of. People ought to try using some kind of facts when they make these broad statements.

I recently met Mr. Harvel and found him to be a very nice man. He disagrees with a lot of the more liberal voices on this forum, but that does not make him the devil's spawn. He has his opinion and others have theirs. Mr. Harvel seems to be a person that is passionate about certain aspects of the government, other aspects he agrees with 75% of people on this blog forum what ever. I agree that where JP is concerned he can be a little rabid but only because he is concerned as many are with the state of Anderson County, he seems like he really wants what is best for Anderson, so hat I'm thinking is maybe some of those on the extreme left should meet with some on the extreme right (and I'm not convinced that Mr. Harvel is that extreme in a lot of areas) should meet and see what you can agree on. I would suggest that you do not bring up Mr. Preston's name until you create some kind of relationship.

Just so you know rino I don't generally form an opinion to hate people until I have met them. I have met Mr. Harvel and I liked him, didn't think I would but he is very nice and easy to talk to.

Rino, I think you are being very unfair. I have known Dan Harvell since he was in high school. I don't agree with all his views, but I can state with total honesty that he cares about this county and its citizens. Yes, he disagrees with Joey Preston frequently but Harvell is committed and involved, which is more than most people can say.
Everybody has stated their opinion of Dan Harvell,And I have stated mine.Why is it that I am the one that is automatically wrong,and all of you are right.And if anyone is driven by hate it is this individual,not me,He hates Joey Preston and every other person who has the nerve to question any of his actions or motives.In my humble opinion he is a pompous Donkey`s rear,and not man enough to represent any Anderson County Taxpayer.

I know Dan and he is as fine a gentleman as anyone will ever meet. He works tirelessly on behalf of the taxpayers of our county regardless of their political views. I am proud to state that I support Dan Harvell. Dan is the type man that would make a great county administrator, if an honest person is ever considered for that position.

Possibly it's the TONE you take and your choice of words? But then I am dumber than the avergae female as you say, which based on my IQ which I'll put against yours ANY DAY and my profession , which I will put up against yours any day, makes not only ME but all women a helluva lot smarter than some lonely bitter old man who sleeps with his gun rather than a woman- for no self respecting woman would put up with your pile of dung.
Dan is no saint..and certainly not worthy of the level of slavish support he is receiving from some..
he has been caught in lies and defamation of character enough times that his motives are worthy of review..
as far as him "caring about ALL the taxpayers"..based on his insults and statements about folk who dont have the same level of wealth that he does..and the same ability to live in a nice safe neighborhood like he does..I tend to doubf=t that statement as well..
PN, I don't know about any of that, I only know that I am not wealthy by any means of measuring that kind of thing. I live in a safe neighborhood and when I met Mr. Harvel he was very gracious and very nice and down to earth. I do not know of any email that was sent by him and do not know the basis of said email. If the email were a proven lie, I would ask him to retract it and apologize for it. I would not however act like this man were the devil incarnate.
Now you guys are guilty of exactly the same thing you are accusing him of.
