I loved All in the Family! The difference is that those people weren't taking All in the Family and broadcasting it as a serious, nonsatircal piece. That's basically what Kevin did. It would be like Kevin taking an All in the Family clip, putting it on his blog and saying "Man! Archie really knows what he's talking about!" That makes it nonsatircal in the way HE is broadcasting it.

Senator Bryant mentioned in his post that he would not "cower" to the cultural police. My question is who are the cultural police? In my opinion his response intimates that one culture is better than another culture.

SSHM, yes, I do enjoy my SS check each month, thanks to FDR. And if the liberals elect Hussein as next Prez, I predict that SS will end under another Democrat/Muslim. (Please don't ever mention this but I have a daughter that is one of those people, a Dem. But, thank goodness, she is too smart to vote for Hussein.) I don't hate all Dems after all. And not all of them are liberals as I usually mention.
Teacher07, I say that our culture here in the good ol USA is far better than the Muslim culture. Would you not agree??? It is the politically correct left-coast crowd that is trying to cram their views on everyone. It wont work with me for sure. And I'm not a biased person. Well, yes I am! I am strongly biased in favor of all that our country was founded on and I will fight til my final heart beat against all those that are destroying what this country stands for. Amen.

(Hanford ONLY holds 2/3 of all US high level radioactive waste, it produced the plutonium for the "Fat Man" atomic bomb that ended WWII. It's THE most contaminated nuclear site in the US and ranks at the top of ALL the EPA superfund cleanup sites making the SRS look almost like a spilled trashcan by comparison)

Ya know zn, Andrew never did mention the New Yorker, I know because I thought for sure he would start screaming racism. I looked for anything from him there was nada. Now this Bryant joke is a different story, I personally thought it was humorous not necesarrily funny but worth a chuckle. Just like I thought all those Bush is dumb and stupid jokes going around were worth a chuckle. A few were really laugh out loud funny, but not many. Then I again I have something most left wing libs or right wing radicals do not a sense of humor.

It's amazing how people act like no one makes fun of Obama. Selective hearing I suppose. I've seen some hilarious jokes/skits about Obama. I enjoy Jay Leno myself. Whoever they get to play Obama in those "Celebrity Jeopardy" skits is great!

Sorry, I do not agree with the assertion that the picture is a Racial or Cultural slur. The picture says the difference is a little b s. And in spelling Obama and Osama, what is the difference? The B and the S. An opportunity to jab Obama with a sharp stick, maybe, but a racial or cultural slur? I don't think so.Just MHO

There's a difference between melting and deflating, Blogger. If something melts, it still leaves its basic substance behind. If you deflate a liberal, there's nothing left but a shallow, limp shell lying atop a stack of DNC talking points, surrounded by a bunch of people wearing rose-colored glasses, all asking, "WTF?"
