People keep saying that McCain will be another 4 years of Bush. If you watch this video, you'll agree with me it will be even worse. At least we knew where Bush stood. Where does McCain stand?

I say that McCain stands to the right of Hussein Obama, even after watching Obama stand on both sides of several issues. Some on the same day. LOL
Vote for Hussein Obama: Endorsed by Hezbollah, Hamas and fine terrorist groups everywhere, Barf! Remember, a vote for Hussein Obama is a vote for another term of Jimmie Carter.
Personally, I think McCain will start bringing the troops on the ground when the generals tell him it's safe to do so without jeopardizing the fledgling government in Iraq, when we can be reasonable sure it won't lead to a massacre of Iraqi civilians to rival that of the "Killing Fields" bloodletting after we left Southeast Asia in the mid-1970s and when we're assured that leaving won't jeopardize our security or our national interests in that area.
Or, perhaps, earlier if Maliki insists. They are a sovereign nation, you know.
But my question is when Obama would bring the troops home.
On September 12, 2007, campaigning in Clinton, Iowa, Obama said the following:
"So let me be clear. There is no military solution in Iraq. There never was. The best way to protect our security and to pressure Iraq's leaders to resolve their civil war is to immediately begin to remove our combat troops. Not in six months or one year, but now."
If you don't recall that, the YouTube video I've put a link at the end of this to a juicy little soundbite. (I still haven't figured out that "embed video" bit yet, and I'm not even sure my link will work, but humor me here.)
Within two months after that, he was calling for a 16-month "timetable" for withdrawing those troops. Not immediately. Not right now. Sixteen months.
Then, on July 3, 2008, he told a real whopper to the New York Times: "I've always said that the pace of withdrawal would be dictated by the safety and security of our troops and the need to maintain stability. That assessment has not changed... And when I go to Iraq and have a chance to talk to some of the commanders on the ground, I'm sure I'll have more information and will continue to refine my policies."
Later that same day, attempting to clarify his flip-flop, he said: "I would be a poor commander-in-chief if I didn't take facts on the ground into account." (Good Lord, Obama said something that makes sense. What's up with that? Does the DailyKos know about this?)
In September 2007, Obama Called For The U.S. To "Immediately Begin To Remove Our Combat Troops" From Iraq. Obama: "So let me be clear. There is no military solution in Iraq. There never was. The best way to protect our security and to pressure Iraq's leaders to resolve their civil war is to immediately begin to remove our combat troops. Not in six months or one year, but now." (Sen. Barack Obama, Remarks On Iraq, Clinton, IA, 9/12/07)

So, what'll it be? Immediately, as he said in September 2007? In 16 months? Or will Obama, like McCain, listen to the generals in the field and make decicions based on the MILITARY situation in Iraq, and not on the POLITICAL situation in the United States? Personally, I trust McCain on this issue far more than I trust Obama.
Reality check for you. We're dealing with an enemy unlike any we've ever encountered, they're highly motivated, almost faceless and everywhere but yet nowhere at the same time. They even walk among us, then hide behind political correctness and groups like CAIR who scream racism and file lawsuits when they're pointed out. If we elect someone like Obama they'll win becasue they know that the American military and people will be forced by a liberal government to swallow defeat, they know this, thats what they want. Bring the troops home when radical anti-American militant Islam is defeated and its followers are dead wherever they're found. Anything less then that will just inviting another 9-11 like attack upon ourselves.
"I am absolutely committed to ending the war," the longtime community organizer declared. "I will call my Joint Chiefs of Staff in and give them a new assignment and that is to end the war." - Barack "Dumbass" Obama
Obama listen to the generals? That retarded jackass didn't even know that since the Goldwater-Nichols Act, the Joint Chiefs have no operational command of U.S. military forces. What a toolbag... FYI, Proper military chain of command; President, Secretary of Defense ,Unified Combatant Commands, field commanders, troops. The JC's mainly serve in a advisory role to the president not as military commanders..
Lets look at experience.
Obama- fence riding his way through the Illinois legislature and 143 days working in the Senate and still doesn't even know the proper chain of command....
McCain- 26 years in Congress, 22 years of military service, nuff' said.
Whats up with 99 Senators showing up for work today, all except John McCain?
If I didn't goto work cause I was out looking for another job, I wouldn't last long at my old job...
With 26 years in congress, I think he's earned some time off....Now taking all this time off with only 143 days in the Senate is another story....
In Obama's own words.......
From Dreams of My Father: 'I ceased to advertise my mother's race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites.'
From Dreams of My Father : 'I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mother's race.'
From Dreams of My Father: 'There was something about him that made me wary, a little too sure of himself, maybe. And white.'
From Dreams of My Father: 'It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names.'
From Dreams of My Father: 'I never emulate white men and brown men whose fates didn't speak to my own. It was into my father's image, the black man, son of Africa , that I'd packed all the attributes I sought in myself , the attributes of Martin and Malcolm, DuBois and Mandela.'
Well I'm glad to see there are still some who understand our role in Iraq and the danger of cut-n-run.
former cop you're not talking about John McCain are you? He can't seem to understand where he left his car keys, much less how complicated Iraq is.
From Dreams of My Father : 'I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mother's race.'The truth is that nothing like that quote appears in his book. It's a complete fabrication by some right-wing nut. Check here for information.
Ernest-Penfold, while you "may" be correct about the book quotes, I believe that Obama will tear "himself" down before November arrives. It sure seems that way to me. As soon as the focus was off of Hillary, the flip flopping of Obama began rolling. And it's still early. We'll just have to wait and see. I think he's just way too green to handle the pressure.
Of course I've never read it, do you actually think, even for a split second, that I would ever consider contributing to finances of a socialist that I viciously hate and wish dead by buying his book? That would be aiding an enemy of a free United States. Also, the Quotes didn't come from an email, they came from a web site and I really couldn't care less if people spread half truths about him, as long as it hurts his image, his campaign and ultimately leads to his defeat. Really, if you think the government is screwing us and that things are bad now with a democrap controlled congress only getting a 9% approval rating, go ahead and put mister 143 days of experience in charge, he'll screw it up beyond repair tax you to death, further destroy the economy and remove your rights in the process, and after he's all done, he'll make Congress look like a bunch of saints....You know, it's too bad that the other day his MD-80 jet didn't break up and go down in a high speed fiery heap of twisted burning jet fuel and razor sharp metal shards...

To run with your tail between your legs then turn around and appease the enemies of your nation is cowardice, aka. the Obama plan... I'll take a "war monger" over a coward any day, I'd rather our military be destroying our enemies abroad, than to sit around at home with our pants around our ankles waiting to be attacked again...
Obama's vision for the US military.....
Since when is a quote by George Santayana more meaningful than a pictorial rendition of the U.S. military under a potential second term of Jimmy Carter?
And if you can find a bunch of coprolite, you might find oil nearby. Celebrate the find! Drill! Drill! Drill!
