I've been paying taxes for years dude. This year will be the worst yet since I worked for several months as an independent contractor.

If anybody has any experience with that please email me. I'm worried about owing too much and getting penalized for that.. I read something like that :)

See if you can find a area thats populated with illegals that has a low crime rate, a low instance of gang and drug activity, property value thats not declining, and a TB rate lower than the national average. Guess what, you won't find one and being a LEGAL citizen of this country, I don't want to live near or in one. If you in my country illegally, regardless of your skin color or the country you came from, you are NOT welcome to be my neighbor. Also Mexico needs to remain SOUTH of the border where it belongs, not in my backyard.

You'll learn now, whatever taxes your employer would usually pay, you will be responsible to pay not only what would be their share, but your share as well. Social security will have to be paid twice as well, but you'll only get credit for 1/2 the amount paid.....

Well, wrong assumption. I was talking about the Cindy Wilson crowd when I referred to "them." Those pronouns can be tricky, though.

Better go check your history. Voltaire would most likely be considered a libertarian in this day and age. His "social reforms" were aimed at big brothers oppression of the people and ensuring the rights of the people, lower and fair taxation and not expanding government further into everyones lives like a modern liberal wants to. He supported free speech and freedom of religion. (unlike modern libs who want to destroy religion) Voltaire was also for the rights of the people, not or the right of the government to take from the people....

That's the definition of liberal right there. Liberalism was a movement against authoritarian right wing governments like Facism, hard right policies, kings, lords, aristocracy, etc.

Liberals want the government to fix every problem that comes up with a bureaucratic solution that forces one segment of society to pay for another, THATS CALLED SOCIALISM and socialism oppresses the people. The bigger government the libs crave actually takes away freedom from the masses because the masses are forced against their will to feed the ever growing oppressive beast...FYI Voltaire would have been against that, but who cares he's dead.
