Republican Party Censure!

Even with all the negatives about McKay, he's still better than Bob "Alzheimer" Waldrep

All of you that are whining cuz Preston's Boy, MacKay, got censured are hypocrites. You all were dancing with joy when Cindy Wilson got censured by the council. You can dish it out, but you can't take it.

Pretty soon, both sides will be singing that tune.....

Being one of 50 satellite states of our "Glorious Leaders" in DC, we'll most likely end up with something like this.....

Along with the uniforms to match.....

MacKay, a candidate for a contested Republican seat was CENSURED by the Republican Executive Committee, essentially acting as an endorsement of Bob Waldrep - a no-no during the primary.

Wilson, a sitting member of County Council was CENSURED by both REPUBLICANS AND DEMOCRATS for her actions.

There IS a difference. Nice try with the apples to orange comparisons.

Can you tell me, SSHM, what no-no happened? I can't for the life of me find the party rule that says a county party can't do this.

State law prohibits parties from rejecting a candidates request to run, but I cannot find where a party is not allowed to censure or endorse a candidate in a primary.

Don't come back with anything but hard-core proof. Don't quote what someone says, I want written proof.

Whether the party can "legally" or "procedurely" vote the censure, it makes the party look like a bunch of sore sports. All the while, ignoring Bab Waldrep's politically-expedient party jumping. The censure is a shameful exercise. NOt a proud day for Anderson County Republicans.

Meaningless, just like the censure itself, I can just see C. Wilson shaking her finger at him and saying, "Now, you don't do that again just because we the big bad Anderson Republican Party told you not to, now we're going to censure you."
