Good point. He declared himself a democrat when he voted in the Democratic PPP. On the other hand, he declared himself a Republican when he voted in the primary last week. Assuming he voted for himself in the primary. That is not a far fetched assumption.
He has given money to democrats, which goes to work against Republicans. There is no evidence (that has been released by MacKay) that he has ever given a dime to Republicans. The evidence shows he gave $2,600.00 to democrats since 2000. That's a major no-no.
Here is what MacKay can do to fix this major problem for himself. 1st he can provide a sign-in sheet(s) showing that he voted in at least 1 republican primary. 2nd thing he can do, is provide financial disclosures that he has given at least a dollar to Republican candidates, local, state or Federal parties. Just $1.00 would at least show he supports or has supported Republicans.
Just my thoughts. He should be embarrassed that he has done nothing to help republican candidates, and now wants support from Republicans.
