This would have to be a non-partisan effort for better politics in general. We don't have to be "Soccer Mom's" to let our wishes be known and simply GOTV.

A "non-partisan" effort to reorganize the Republican Party? Dangit, Petunia, you made me laugh so hard coffee just came out my nose. 
Actually, it's not a bad idea. I think I'll organize some of us moderate Republicans to step into the Democratic Party and reorganize it so those who are opposed to the Iraq War and the American military, those who support affirmative action and abortion on demand, those who support the "tax the rich and give it away to those who don't contribute to the economy" philosophy, radical Muslims and extreme liberals, and those who don't think religion should play a role in politics and those morons who think we should leave tens of billions of barrells of our own oil in the ground while we're being held hostage to OPEC WILL NOT ALLOWED IN THE PARTY.
Yeah, yeah, it's a GREAT idea. I volunteer to be the first fox in that Democratic henhouse. But, know what? They won't let me stay once they figure out what I'm up to.

JD, you know that I am a liberal Republican and I will join you. Let's start going to a couple of Democratic functions and infiltrate their ranks. There are so few Dems in Anderson County it may be hard for us to stay hidden, but then again, they aren't the brightest bulbs in the lamps.

Where have you been,prevail, under a rock? The Democratic Party is alive and well in Anderson County. Have you noticed our HQ on Main Street? By the next time we have an election there will be more persons on the ballot under the Democratic banner. We certainly will be making a statement or two in November. Come to our BBQ on the fifth of July and see the crowd and hear some great speeches not to mention having some great BBQ. Everyone is welcome.

Petunia, I ate at Matties Downtown Wednesday night and did take notice of your shrine next door. The glass door was so filthy it was hard to see inside. I did admire the big pictures in your window of Gracie Funny Floyd and your idol Barack Hussein Obama.
