That's my other issue here. We are applying standards when it is convenient to do so. Folks are fit to have Raymond tied because he gave to Democrats. Bob WAS A DEMOCRAT. Select a standard by which you choose to judge individuals that run for office. Then judge both individuals EQUALLY using the same standard.
Until that happens, I don't see a debate or for that matter, anything more that the creation of unnecessary hot air here in June.

Personally, I think all of this Democrat or Republican back-and-forth means very little one way or another as far as fiscal conservatism. Most "mainstream" Democrats want to spend money like drunken sailors (with apologies to drunken sailors, who at least spend their own money), while most "mainstream" Republicans nowadays seem to want to spend money like Democrats.
I agree with Zn to some extent here. Regardless of whether you vote for a Republican or a Democrat, government spending is going to continue to to UP, taxes are going to continue to UP, and once this election cycle is over, nobody's opinion will matter one iota - until the next election cycle, when the wool gets pulled over your eyes again.

It absolutely amazes me how full of yourselves some of you are acting. A man votes in Republican Primaries for the majority of his voting history and because he votes in a Democratic Primary once or twice you people have a heart attack and say he MUST be a Democrat.

Do you have any idea how many Republicans vote in Democratic Primaries and how many Democrats vote in Republican Primaries? It's not a phenomenon. It happens all the time. It's not a big deal. Voting in a certain primary does NOT make you a member of that party nor does it mean you support that party.
Something interesting just happened....a few minutes ago at 6:45 PM today, Monday, I was watching a movie, 'Jumper', and my phone rang. It was a local call to see if I was supporting Mr. Raymond Mackay. She asked if I will vote for Mr. Mackay...I said no. She asked why...I told her that I am a Republican and Mr. Mackay is a Democrat...she said that Mr. Mackay said that he is a Rupublican...I said he could be a communist and still run on the Republican ticket...she asked if I had formed my opinion on a flyer that had been mailed out...I said No, that there was a ton on evidence out there to support the fact that Mr. Mackay was a Democrat...she laughed and snikkered some and asked if I would vote and support him...I strongly said NO again. She thanked me and hung up.
Conclusion: Mr. Rubber-Stamp Mackay is sinking and desperate. Even his callers have to laugh at the evidence supporting the fact that he is a full-fledged card-carrying, bow-tie wearing Yes man to Joey Ray Preston.
Dems, we were fooled by some of you two years ago. You will not fool us this time. Goodbye Mr. Mackay. You have disgraced your supporters as did Bill McAbee and others did. But no more. This is the truth. We will PREVAIL.
My conclusion: You're not very good at coming to conclusions. Maybe you should consider the possibility that she was laughing at the "ton of evidence out there" you believe exists. Throw in a couple of "conspiracy theories" and whine about the "liberal media" and you've got the perfect response, buddy.
Like I have said, hit them with a ton of facts and they still do not have the ability to understand what has been said.

MacKay makes his living suing the Anderson Hospital, other hospitals and Doctors.
Maybe that's why he voted for Edwards in the Democratic primary. Sharks schooling together?
