Mackay versus Waldrep - Where did Brooks Brown Run-off To?

I think the "bought and paid for" comment deserves some explanation! Who, when, and how?

that's not how runoffs work. If Brooks could deliver his 5% and no one else was allowed to change their minds, that might happen. But Brooks can't deliver, no on could. People change their minds, turnout fluctuates, new issues such as Mackay's vote in the Dem primary come up and sway different people to vote in different ways. Runoffs are entirely different and separate elections. Bob seems to know this and is running hard. Mackay may have lost some steam when he realized he wouldn't bethe linch pin Joey promised he would be on a 6-1 council. But he isn't running his campaign anyway. Joey Preston is, so the runoff will be hard fought.I wonder if the money men are going to finally get tiured of throwing good money after bad. If ron Wilson is no better in the commodities market than he is at picking winners in elections, he and his clients are in for hard times.
I think Bob in a squeaker, but it's still eight days away. A lot can happen.
