I do.  What is that?  A security setting maybe?

Okay Nick,

I must be getting younger, I am able to move arounf the blog and did enjoy the email recap instead of a steady string of messages all day long.

My one complaint, that you received about the old blog and fixed, is the size of the text. Any chance of enlarging it ?

I don't see any scripts running when I bring up the site and the site runs at the same speed as any other site on my PC.
Do any of you getting this have any details or information to provide regarding the script? Can you read any of the commands that are running or attempting to run?
I'll be glad to help with this if I can. Could be a local setting in your Browser.

In the dialogue box it has a shield with an exclamation mark in and it says that there is a script or something running that would make this program run slow and to check yes or no at the bottom, pardon my pc illiterate language.  I check yes and then I have to problem.  It turns it off I guess.  It runs fine after I do that.

Guys: The script allows new windows to open ... it's part of the ajax like interface that runs a lot of what makes this platform robust ... the visual editor, the hide replies, the thumbs down, practically all of it. On most browsers you should just allow this site to be consdered "safe" on thatb script and you'll be fine....

Pappy. We've got some control over the CSS so we will see what we can do .... However, my first and best recommendation is to get familiar with your browser. Most of them have very robust mechanisms for enlarging the size of the text on the page. On explorer, go to page and click on text size

Nick, I have the latest Explorer and the text sizeclick dfoes not increase the size of the blog's comments. Oh well. . .

PS-My window shows a large black band of what seems wasted space on the right.
Curious as to why ?

hmmm. that doesn't sound right to me. Do you not see green tab labeled modules such as community stats, recent posts, hot topics etc etc?

Download Firefox or Seamonkey, both are better and more secure. Microslut products suck. Ok thx bye.

Nick I am seeing the same thing as Pappy. When you open the page there is the stats, recent posts etc but as soon as you open anything beyond that all you see is the wide black strip.

and it's not just because you've scrolled down the page?? Weird ...

The stats etc seem to be further down the page once the black bar appears but you can't see it while your reading what people have posted. For example I can't see them now while I'm typing but if I scroll down a little bit they are there.

Zn is right on this one. I use both Internet Explorer (as the default browser for AOL) and Firefox (as the browser of choice on my BellSouth DSL account), and the page displays a little differently in each one of them. Not sure yet which one I like best, but my experience over the recent past is that Firefox beats the socks off of IE almost every time. And it's a FREE download!
