Solicitor - Sarah Drawdy has this one in the bag. The only way Chrissy could win now is if a meteor takes out Anderson County but Oconee County is untouched.

Solicitor - Judging by the cross-section of Anderson supporting Sarah Drawdy, I think she'll win this by a larger margin that most people expect.
Chrissy's got the advantage of incumbency and the patronage of her staff but beyond that does anybody like her? I guess she'll win Oconee County but unless she crushes Drawdy up there, there is no way she can win.

Barring any major changes between now and June 10th, it is in my expert political opinion to expect a landslide victory for Sarah.

The winds of change may be blowing but they still smell like a giant fart.......And unfortunately the air remains pretty stagnant in Honea Path......
I was surprised to see Drawdy lose by such a margin. Of Course, Greer, Mcabee and Thompson took good old fashioned ass whippings. but I guess that breeze didn't reach you, huh, Z?

Downtown you are right. I miscalled the Drawdy/Adams contest.
But, I was right on the Sheriff, and Council Districts 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7. And I still have a chance in District 1. So I'm sorry Sarah lost. But I am thrilled at the wins I did predict! I am very happy with that average! I'll even have a beverage in your honor to help console you about the one you were right on!
I guess LuLu is now available for lunch on the 11th since her candidate lost--Adams camp will be celebrating instead. As my mama used to say---"Don't count your chickens before they hatch." CONGRATULATIONS CHRISSY--the voice of reason prevailed afterall.

I would like to say to Mr. Andrew Hammett that it appears that the Adams meteorite destroyed your prediction. Maybe with age will come wisdom for you-or we can always hope, anyway.

Lulu- where are you darling? We haven't heard from you since the election. Instead of celebrating on the 11th it appears that you were instead licking your wounds while your husband was taking down one million Drawdy signs.
Downtown, you didn't post any of NomadRon's predictions. I'm too tired to find any of his right now but if anyone would like to do a cut and paste, I would appreciate it. As cocky as he was about the Solicitor's race, it will be sweet indeed to see him taken down a few notches.
As for all you Spartanburg folks down here campaigning for Drawdy, it's time to take your happy behinds back to Sparkle City. I know it's a rough commute what with gas prices being what they are. As my mama always says, beggars can't be choosers.
