Just had to post this after reading the AIM story about Bob Waldrep as delegate to Republican National Convention. Bob was NOT elected as a delegate at the SCGOP state convention. He did not even attend. Waldrep was elected by the Anderson County delegation at the 3rd District Convention just to spite Mary McAbee. The whole Drivel crowd showed up and voted en masse for Sleepy Bob to go to Minneapolis. Just as spiteful they refused to go to the state convention so that instead of the 30 delegates we were entitled to we only had 14. Yeah ain't the Anderson Republicans wonderful. They'd rather keep Mary McAbee out of Minneapolis that give Anderson its full contingency at the state convention.
All this just to get back at Bill McAbee.
Inquiring minds want to know how many times Bob will actually show up to be on the floor. He's already asking about where the best restaurants and bars are. Wonder who his roommate will be?

So, let me see if I understand this. Since only 14 showed up at the state convention from Anderson, that eliminated Mary McAbee? There are 45 other county delegations. I would think she is well known among that crowd since she has a position. This is a popularity contest, isn't it?
Sometimes there really isn't a conspiracy. Sometimes folks just don't get what they want. It happens.

YankeeFan, another point missy seems to refuse ot consider - maybe Bobis just held in that much esteem by the party. That's a considerable honor and I doubt it was bestowed on one just to make a point to the other. BTW, Missy, what do you about finding a decent restaurant when you're in a new city? It's simple why MerryMcAbee was not elected. The REAL conservative Republicans do not feel that the McAbees represent us anymore because of their left-wing thinking the past several years. And Billy has embarrassed us numerous times. Simple
