Mary McAbee is seeking to be a delegate to the RNC at the state convention coming up. Her lifelong service to the GOP and her service to the Federation of GOP Women should be considered more than Bill's run in politics.

Don't hold Bill McAbee's ways against someone who has earned her shot. It would be a real shame if political storm here costs Ms. McAbee the shot she has earned.

Mary cannot hide the fact that husband Billy has wasted thousands of taxpayer dollars and made unethical commissions on Real Estate sales....and she had to know all about it. At least I have never read or heard that she denies knowing the Billy facts. Hillary has faced the same in her run for the President, a dark cloud of husband Billy (Billy again ?) which will forever hang over her head. Sorry, but as a Republican I could never accept Mary McAbee representing me in anything.

Drinking PBR? Heck, I'll grab a six-pack and start heading towards Abbeville. It's no Stella or Iron City Beer, but it does in a pinch and on the cheap.

"unethical?" He recused himself - which is more than MCW does. He used the proper method of avoiding any conflict in his voting. He acknowledged his relationship with the real estate (his business) deal .
Hve you checked into the MCW Walgreens deal yet or are you only focused on Bill Mac?

Back to the original post -- yes, Mary McAbee has been an outstanding representative for Anderson County with the Republican party, and would be a tremendous asset at the national convention. She deserves the support of all who have the potential to vote to send her to the event.

Bill McAbee has not done anything unethical in his real estate business. He has followed the proper procedures that have been set forth by the governing body.

If you believe that following the established procedure is not good enough, argue for change in the rules. Don't denigrate someone who has followed the rules and done what's right.

You make a great point, Queen, albeit unwittingly. Why is this a matter of public discussion? Few if any on this blog the woman's name around?

Sorry, had a little glitch. My point was how manypeople here get to vote on whether to send Mary or not? So quit bringing her name up for some of the cruders SOBs on here to drag around.

Keep chanting that mantra, Porter. I'll keep chanting mine. Perception! Perception! Perception!
Besides, Bill's PERCEIVED position in this matter is just one of several problems he faces on June 10. He crossed La familia, and June 11th, he'll wake up with a severed horse's head under the covers. (Lord, am I passing up a great tag line here!)

SSHM, Just have one question, what kind of beer is PBR or Iron city never heard of either of these. Of course I don't like beer, I'd rather have a Pepsi
Also since the election, I believe Mary would be an asset to the RNC
