Hankey may be prone to Pankey, but the only Poo I saw was coming from Michelle Obama.

The vid on the link is not the video they are talking about. As far as Mr. Hankey could tell anyway. I did not watch that video that is in the middle of the story because it started out with her how proud i am speach. (I keep getting sick when I see it).

If Ms Obama takes an active part in her husband's campaign by giving speeches on his behalf, she is certainly fair game to have her words reviewed.

I agree with you, NomadRon. Barack Obama's wife is no more "off-limits" in the campaign than is Hillary Clinton's husband.

Hard to believe poor Michelle Obama is so bitter about America, the land that enabled her to go to ivy league schools, make millions from book deals, and probably make her husband the Democratic nominee for the US presidency. What hypocrisy..... I certainly do not want anyone with her attitude leading our nation.

I've been blessed with opportunity in this country, but I can't say that I have always been proud of my country.

What she meant, I think, is that she is proud to finally see Americans uplifting someone other than an old white guy for elected office. She's proud to see folks move past (well, most of us) bitter racial and cultural divides.

I don't see anything wrong with that line. Sure, if you want to twist it and say she hates America (like all liberals apparently do...that's a standard conservative argument), then nevermind actual motivation...

Again most of us could care less if Obama is black (well only 1/2 black) I hate him for his ideology and political views so leave the "race card" with Jackson and Sharpton already. BTW I would actually bother to vote in the upcoming election if C. Rice were on the ticket....Anyone who can visit Syria for 2 days and then Syria pulls out of Lebanon the next week has my vote...

There's your problem. I dislike Bush and plenty other politicians, but I don't hate them. Even if you hate a person because of their ideology, it's still hate, and it's quite wrong. How about hating their ideology instead?
