I don't know where this political postcard came from but it is certainly effective in making people pause to think about how much Cindy Wilson's little 7 year vendetta has cost the taypayers of Anderson. I declare if voters of district #7 would put Cindy out of office for just a 2 year trial period, the county coffers would fair so much better and the district and the County would be far better off. We've all seen the havoc and unnecessary spending she has wrought during her tenure. If at the end of Cindy's two year sabbatical the voters of District #7 actually miss her brand of "leadership", then bring her back to finish off her slash and burn campaign of negativity and character assassination. I like candidate Doug Hooper's idea of tearing down the wall between District #7 and the rest of the County. At any rate, I believe Anderson County has endured about all the Cindy Wilson we can afford during these hard economic times. We no longer can afford the high-priced ticket of the Cindy Wilson variety show.

Sure, to stop the riffs on council get rid of Bob and Cindy. Then, Joey Ray Preston would have 100% control of EVERYTHING in our county government. Bob and Cindy have been fighting for honest and open government for years and Joey Ray is scared sh...ess that he may lose control in the June election. The honest taxpayer would have no voice except for Bob and Cindy. The Gang Of Five allows Preston to do all their thinking for them in return for power and special favors. Where is the big money coming from that the Preston candidates are throwing around? Why don't some of you CUPS find out.

Seems the CAVE want to overlook Cindy's WASTEFUL SPENDING and attack Crenshaw's over budget expenditures. Well, there is one IMPORTANT difference:
Crenshaw bought patrol cars and other law enforcement items with that money. This equipment is helping to put the thugs behind bars. We taxpayers are benefitting from that money.

Cindy truly does have her good points, but she cannot work with the others on council. Even in Kindergarten, we try to get our children to understand the concept of working with others. Bottom line is that district 7 is missing major $$$$ due to the anger and alienation between her and others on council. In business, we'd change management.
And don't tell me change JP. The five to two vote indicates that the management issue is not JP alone.
Yet my prediction is that it will be a close race.
Time will tell.

How do you know that she can't work with the other council members? Maybe they can't work with her!
I say get rid of all the bums, the administration and the lawyers. Let's start over. The council we have now have become the laughing stock of the state. Bill McAbee is laughed at in all Republican circles.
It's time for a change. Start with McAbee and Greer and Thompson. Next time get two more, but these guys are absolutely nuts. They are killing our county.

However, I think a much more agreeable solution is to clean out both County Council and the administrator's office. This group is simply too steeped in bad blood to do anything useful, and any remainders would just continue the hard feelings from various constituents. Let's start fresh.
But that would never happen either, because all sides on this "fight" are too entrenched to think beyond their respective ideological positions.

I think the Cindy Supporters/Driver Crowd are in full-blown damage control over what Rick said on the air yesterday:
I honestly believe, that, in the end, at the end of the day, that the people involved in that are going to suffer financially because they are always running around with boots out and so forth and gimmie a little money for this that and the other we're going to have chicken this weekend how about coming and spending your money so you can support what we do.

Thompson is a ROYAL IDIOT that deserves the boot as well...So now that we're almost at a majority, lets just replace them all....
ZN, that's not a very nice thing to say about Thompson. Nonetheless, it would not be wise to replace all of Council at one time. The wiser course would be to get rid of the two defective members (CW & BW) this cycle, then assess the rest over the next two years to see if additional changes are needed. It is not fair to judge any of the remaining Council members in light of the circus environment they've had to work in with regard to CW and BW. All things considered, they've done the best anybody could be expected to do in the same circumstances.
