Now get back on topic and read what is written and learn to comprehend.

Did you not call victims "poor slobs?" I comprehended that. You are not trying to shift blame for your thoughtless statement, are you?

Ya know Billyboy, by the way good name. It is a shame that you only understand what you want. Sometimes you actually make sense, note I said sometimes. This time however because I disagree with you about CW you can't get past it. Trying to shift blame, how? I have already said you were right. I have apologized. Would like me to friggin do, a novena or the stations. Geez what a sch@#$%

Here is exactly what prompted the political neophyte to call into WAI'm Out of Material this morning:

1.) An unnamed caller called in to advise the local firefighters that go door-to-door not to stop by his house as he was pro-Cindy Wilson. The caller went farther in saying that firefighters would likely have a tough time collecting money as a result of this Palmetto 800/Doug Hooper situation.

2.) Stanley did attempt (he does get credit here folks - sorry) to correct on-the-fly the caller by stating their jobs, as firefighers are seperate from politics.

3.) M. Cindy Wilson (aka political neophyte) follows two calls later to wish everyone a wonderful Saturday and that our firefighters are important - but - some are easily misled and fooled by information that is out and about.

The tone of Ms. Wilson implied that some folks running a certain campaign are easily fooled and are foolish people.

-------------------------------------------------
Commentary:

I don't think I have ever heard a politician ever take a gun to their foot and blow it off - until today. As though the Palmetto 800 system was not the proverbial 800lb gorilla in the corner, we now have an incumbent, in a hotly contested race, call first responders "foolish" and "easily fooled."

Bad news comes in threes . . . the other two items should be amazing.

Finally an educated response, on topic no less. You did however leave out the part where Cindy Wilson said that our Volunteer Firerfighters were to busy to be able to understand the facts and unable to think for themselves.

Yes, and I am sure there will be many good questions as we take our message to one fire company at a time !

The events of the past three years are clear. We will answer any questions honestly and show what we have. I'm sure the outcome will be exciting. There is a very good possibility that we will have a new winner this time around.

Can't wait till the big race in JUNE !

I'm no CW fan. I voted for Mr Jean. I only questioned one of your remarks about some unfortunates. And you apologized to them and for that you are commended.

And can you show us you're a lady and stop the name calling, as in sch@#$%.

Now can you do the novena?

Billy, calling you a schmuck is a whole lot nicer than a lot of other names I could call you. by the way thank you. I think I'll wait a little on the novena.

Isn't the WAIM show on their website? If so, can it be transcribed so the exact comments can be printed rather than rely on conflicting reports of what was said?

What is the URL for the radio show's online site? Anyone know?

You can only listen to it live. They do have some "on demand" content... mostly about Catergate and Gracie Floyd.

No CW fan ? Voted for Mr. Jean ?

That doesn't fit with your previous posts, does it ? Anybody ? Maybe I'm wrong but you sure fooled me.

If you are telling the truth, I am sorry to have doubted you. And if not, well, what can I say ?

You will be glad to know, we had an excellent response from the firefighters today. They are IN !

Can't wait for the big race in June !

Some of you need to check into the story of two Iva firemen fighting over who was going to drive the truck to a fire .Seems one was chasing the other around the outside of the firehouse with a knife bescause he didnt get to drive . Maybe if he had had his radio it would have been different story.

Wilson and her group's approach to fire fighters might be the thing that does her in. A good many people indentified with her credit card capers, but her groups loathing of firefighters, I think caused by the loss of SC HOUSE 7 by Harvell to one, really creates some problems.

The firefighters in her district are either purely volunteer or they are paid very small amounts per answered call. They work other jobs. In Honea Path, we are lucky to have a Greenville City fire fighter living here who, on his days off, works for HPFD.

Those guys are real servants of the community and deserve better. I believe that so much I can forget SSHM's insults and Preston's antics and vote for Hooper.

I was undecided. Now, I am not. I will vote for Hooper. Even if he is a Preston stooge, at least he will support the first responders. That is about the most important thing a county government does.

WOW Dane -

I didn't know that and I am sure it is true, since you always tell the truth.

Now I understand why Cindy is against the firefighters. I guess that's why she didn't want them to get 800MHZ radios, huh ? Makes perfect sense to me.

So let's all agree that NO FIRST RESPONDERS should get 800Mhz radios (or any other county support for that matter) because two jerks in IVA got into a fight over who was driving.

What an absolutely GREAT IDEA, Dane. Why didn't I think of that ?

The general consensus in the emergency services community is that Cindy Wilson is so freakin' stupid, that she should hire an assistant to follow her around and remind her to breathe, because if she were to stop breathing, the rest of us have better things to be doing than saving her.....

So, Noeline, let me see if I understand this.

Zn asked on another thread this morning if perhaps Senator Ted Kennedy has the DTs again and indicated that he wouldn't be upset if Kennedy has a brain tumor.

You post, "What a horrible thing to say!"

Now, Zn posts a supposition that Cindy Wilson may die from asphyxiation if she doesn't have somebody to follow her around, and you say, "Now Zn that is funny!"

Noeline, where is your self-righteous dividing line between, "That's funny" and "That's horrible?"

How about if I say, "Senator Kennedy has to have people following him around everywhere he goes because for the last 40 years, he's been a seizure looking for a place to happen?"

How about it, Noeline? Funny, or outrageous?

Yep. Hope McAbee doesn't use that against him. That will really turn the vote out against ole Tom. By the way, Amy, read the federalist papers. They discussed the topic of term limits, but didn't enact it. No President ran for a third term until FDR.

Also, McAbee said it was 1949 when the constitiution was amended. Here's a little history lesson for you and Bill. The Twenty-second Amendment (Amendment XXII) of the United States Constitution sets a term limit for the President of the United States. The United States Congress passed the amendment on March 21, 1947.[1] It was ratified by the requisite number of states on February 27, 1951. Doesn't look like it was 1949, now does it?

Please don't tell District 4 that Tom Allen doesn't know his US History. It could devastate Tom's campaign.

Well JD, let me explain my twisted thinking.
1. TK just had an incident which put him in the hospital, Then he wish him a brain tumor an actual medical condition that would indeed kill the man.
2. CW is perfectly healthy, he did not wish her any harm he just mentioned that she is so dumb that if there were not people telling her to breath she would forget. he didn'
