Did you not call victims "poor slobs?" I comprehended that. You are not trying to shift blame for your thoughtless statement, are you?

Here is exactly what prompted the political neophyte to call into WAI'm Out of Material this morning:
1.) An unnamed caller called in to advise the local firefighters that go door-to-door not to stop by his house as he was pro-Cindy Wilson. The caller went farther in saying that firefighters would likely have a tough time collecting money as a result of this Palmetto 800/Doug Hooper situation.
2.) Stanley did attempt (he does get credit here folks - sorry) to correct on-the-fly the caller by stating their jobs, as firefighers are seperate from politics.
3.) M. Cindy Wilson (aka political neophyte) follows two calls later to wish everyone a wonderful Saturday and that our firefighters are important - but - some are easily misled and fooled by information that is out and about.
The tone of Ms. Wilson implied that some folks running a certain campaign are easily fooled and are foolish people.

Commentary:
I don't think I have ever heard a politician ever take a gun to their foot and blow it off - until today. As though the Palmetto 800 system was not the proverbial 800lb gorilla in the corner, we now have an incumbent, in a hotly contested race, call first responders "foolish" and "easily fooled."
Bad news comes in threes . . . the other two items should be amazing.

Isn't the WAIM show on their website? If so, can it be transcribed so the exact comments can be printed rather than rely on conflicting reports of what was said?
What is the URL for the radio show's online site? Anyone know?- The Queen

The only other politician I have heard stick his foot in his mouth this badly was when Tom Allen tried to rewrite history with his founding fathers remark.- Shih
