I have stepped off a motorcycle at 65 mph and have been hit twice by a motorcycle - and it was the same motorcycle, in the same accident.

Is INSP. Black still the same rank? If his rank hasn't changed its probally the old wreck.He got promoted to Inspector last time.

well, since the first one was on a bike being held for evidence in a drug case and Black was reportedly drinkling when he took it for a joy ride, a second occurrence would be of interest to some of us, JD. Especially since the first one got buried.

P.S. If you stepped off a bike at 65 mph, I suspect alcohol was involved in that wreck too. Notice I didn't say accident.

Nah, sadly, Dunebuggy, in that incident 35 years ago, I was totally sober, but only because I could find a way to ride with my ice chest on board.

You're right, though. I stepped off on purpose to avoid becoming one with that fine piece of American-made machinery during what I thought was the inevitable crash that was coming. Instead, when I stepped off and skipped off the road into a kudzu embankment, the dam*ed thing turned around, hit me, climbed that same embankment, came down and hit me again.

That thing was EVIL I tell ya, EVIL!

Is the motorcycle wreck that is about to be made public that Jeff "Buckethead" Black had the one he had way back three years ago, or has he had another one? I mean how often do you give this guy the key to the impound lot?

I remember hearing about that one 3 years ago...it was said that he has a scar on his forehead from that wreck.
When is the going to be made public? I have not seen anything.
