During a campaign swing in Oregon, Presidential want to be Barack Obama, displayed a curious ignorance of geography of the country that he proposes to lead. He has increased the size of the United States by at least seven states.

Obama has the following to say at a stop in the town of Beaverton. "It is wonderful to bla bla bla, bla bla, bla bla bla, every corner of the United States. I've now been in 57 states. I think one left to go. bla bla bla, bla bla, bla bla bla. I Have bla bla bla, bla bla, bla bla bla. Bla Blac bin hope, Bla bal babbay bla bin change.

What a dip.

Mr. Hankey can not wait till he is running the show. Obama is just what the American people need............Just like a hole in the head.

alas, Hanky is not pulling our legs. I heard the clip on the speech on the radio yesterday and again today. Barak Obama really did say that he'd been to 57 states in our country.... but had not been to Hawaii or Alaska.

Fatigue factor at work but not impressive.

As it turns out, the "57 states" thing is a common term of exaggeration.

As in "Elephant lovin' is illegal in 57 states!"

Hankey, I don't blame you for not knowing every detail of every culture in the US, but you could at least try out Google before you attack Obama next time.

It's not like Obama didn't know the difference between Shia and Sunni 3 times in a row, ya know, like Republican nominee John McSame.

GOOGLE! While you're on a fact finding mission, you may want to try looking up a few words in the dictionary:

  • exaggeration
  • hyperbole
  • gullible Fox News viewers (See: Republican)

...and, by golly, Mr. Obama, Hillary is going to stay in the race until all 59 states - including the two you haven't visited yet - have a chance to hold their primaries.

...and those delegations from the states of confusion and chaos are seated!

  • Andrew, your best move would be to say the poor guy is just worn out and dead tired. I could understand that. It was not a joke, he just made a mistake due to fatigue and is now going to be zapped.
(of course, I still think Obama &/or Clinton are a great reason to vote REPUBLICAN!!!!)

I can't even imagine how exhausted any of the candidates are. I would hate to be in a position where everything coming out of my mouth was critiqued. It's bad enough on a full 8 hours! Give the guy a break.

I'm with Hankey and Queen on this one. And also with Blogger. It's a bad mistake but under the circumstances, we could be a little understanding. I missed that speech and I listen to POTUS 08 almost 24/7 or at least while I am in the car which seems like 23/7 these days. I would almost compare this to Hillary's sniper fire incident. You know maybe he just misremembered how many states we have like he sort of misremembered not listening to the Rev. Wright's diatribes against America. Also I am sure that like Hillary he is tired so that increases the chances that he will misremember a lot. So right on Queen what a good reason to VOTE REPUBLICAN.

Oh I am SOOOO with you on that! I have completly enjoyed the deepening economic recession, doubling of food bills, skyrocketing fuel costs, fewer & fewer jobs available, a widening gap between rich & poor, and a war fought over false intel and bad leadership ( not to mention it costs nearly $5.5 T-R-I-L-L-I-O-N dollars).
I thoroughly look forward to being led for the next 4 years by a 70-something Alzheimers candidate (married to a billionaire skin-job remniscent of a Stan Winston creature) who forgot where he laid down his keys.

    Question:
Mr. Obamma, Recent polls have shown a fifth of Americans can't locate the United States on a world map.

Why do you think this is?

you see where this is going?

may-beee because we're a nation of dumbassed, imbecillic self-absorbed morons, more worried about if Syesha Mercado or Jason Castro from American Idol win rather than Obama, Clinton or McCain.
When the prominent skill learned in school nowadays is text-messaging or whether the soda machine is selling DIET coke.......what do you expect?

you see where this is going?

Oh I see where America is headed. I just hope everyone is brushing up on thier foreign language skills, like Farsi, Chinese and Spanish.
