Raymond MacKay made his formal announcement of his candidacy for County Council District 1 today. Mr. MacKay’s announcement, at the Anderson County Arts Center, was held before a crowd of about 30 people at 5:30. Raymond MacKay was joined by former District 1 Councilman Fred Tolly and Anderson County Coroner Greg Shore, both of whom endorsed him.
