I get so sick of hearing the term "Us taxpayers pay your salary/his salary." Well guess what? County employees pay taxes just like you do. So in essence we are working to pay ourselves. So do me favor and shut up. OH YEAH... We vote too.

Thank goodness I don't work civil service. That way, I can tell e-v-e-r-y-o-n-e- to shove their taxpayer entitlement up their wazooo and not feel a tingle of remorse

A conflict of interest is using an elected position to obtain personal gain.

Unethical is using influence you have on a councilman for personal gain.

Criminal? We shall see.

Well I'm glad to know ther is nothing unethical and zero conflict of interest going on here, and absolutely zero criminal activity. Any statement or insinuation otherwise would be libel/slander.
