Interstate Blvd

Come on, you know that would be too easy and actually make sense. That now places it well beyond the scope of thought of our county council.

Extending Interstate Blvd makes more sense than the east-west connector if you ask me. Also, it would open up more land for development fronting I-85.

This should have been considered when the Interstate Blvd project went through the Planning department. Interstate Blvd grew faster than most expected. That could not have been predicted. As good as the estimations are they are not perfect visions.

Council hires competent people to make recommendations for projects like this, otherwise they would be micromanaging just like Hillary Clinton is accused of and Cindy Wilson attempts to do every council meeting.

There was even a plan to fix this intersection taken before ACTC. The way I heard it one of the appointees from Honea Path attacked the project and it was voted down.

Gee..what an unlikely situation..

someone from the southern part of the county killing needed progress in the rest of the county..

until they get their blood money...

guess this means that the critically needed 4 lane to Ware Place from Honea Path is back on the books..

Does anyone know if this is going to come up again at the next ACTC meeting and if so, who are the members so that we can call and let them know how bad this intersection is and how badly it needs to be corrected?
