WOULDN'T IT BE GREAT TO TURN ON THE TV AND HEAR ANY U.S. PRESIDENT, DEMOCRAT OR REPUBLICAN GIVE THE FOLLOWING SPEECH?

My Fellow Americans: As you all know, the defeat of the Iraq regime has been completed.

Since congress does not want to spend any more money on this war, our mission in Iraq is complete.

This morning I gave the order for a complete removal of all American forces from Iraq This action will be complete within 30 days. It is now time to begin the reckoning.

Before me, I have two lists. One list contains the names of countries which have stood by our side during the Iraq conflict. This list is short . The United Kingdom , Spain , Bulgaria , Australia , and Poland are some of the countries listed there.

The other list contains every one not on the first list. Most of the world's nations are on that list. My press secretary will be distributing copies of both lists later this evening.

Let me start by saying that effective immediately, foreign aid to those nations on List 2 ceases immediately and indefinitely. The money saved during the first year alone will pretty much pay for the costs of the Iraqi war. THEN EVERY YEAR THERE AFTER GO TO OUR SOCIAL SECURITY SYSTEM SO IT WONT GO BROKE IN 20 YEARS.

The American people are no longer going to pour money into third world Hellholes and watch those government leaders grow fat on corruption.

Need help with a famine ? Wrestling with an epidemic? Call France .

In the future, together with Congress, I will work to redirect this money toward solving the vexing social problems we still have at home .. On that note, a word to terrorist organizations. Screw with us and we will hunt you down and eliminate you and all your friends from the face of the earth

Thirsting for a gutsy country to terrorize? Try France or maybe China .

I am ordering the immediate severing of diplomatic relations with France, Germany , and Russia . Thanks for all your help, comrades. We are retiring from NATO as well. Bonne chance, mez amies.

I have instructed the Mayor of New York City to begin towing the many UN diplomatic vehicles located in Manhattan with more than two unpaid parking tickets to sites where those vehicles will be stripped, shredded and crushed. I don't care about whatever treaty pertains to this.. You creeps have tens of thousands of unpaid tickets. Pay those tickets tomorrow or watch your precious Benzes, Beamers and limos be turned over to some of the finest chop shops in the world. I love New York

A special note to our neighbors. Canada is on List 2. Since we are likely to be seeing a lot more of each other, you folks might want to try not pissing us off for a change.

Mexico is also on List 2 its president and his entire corrupt government really need an attitude adjustment. I will have a couple extra thousandtanks and infantry divisions sitting around.. Guess where I am going to put 'em? Yep, border security.

Oh, by the way, the United States is abrogating the NAFTA treaty - starting now.

We are tired of the one-way highway. Immediately, we'll be drilling for oil in Alaska - which will take care of this country's oil needs for decades to come. If you're an environmentalist who opposes this decision, I refer you to List 2 above: pick a country and move there.

It is time for America to focus on its own welfare and its own citizens. Some will accuse us of isolationism. I answer them by saying, 'darn tootin.'

Nearly a century of trying to help folks live a decent life around the world has only earned us the undying enmity of just about everyone on the planet. It is time to eliminate hunger in America It is time to eliminate homelessness in America . To the nations on List 1, a final thought. Thank you guys. We owe you and we won't forget.

To the nations on List 2, a final thought: You might want to learn to speak Arabic.

God bless America . Thank you and good night.

If you can read this, thank a teacher. If you are reading it in English, thank a soldier.

BTW. bet your ass you will never hear Hillery come close to this.

Yes where does Hankey find this stuff? And why can he not fact check it before he posts it?

What the US spends in foreign aid in a year will not even cover what we spend in Iraq for that same year much less the entire cost of the war. We spent 20.1 billion in foreign aid last year, not including the war. We spent 125 billion in Iraq. The war through 2007 has cost us 1.3 trillion dollars. So, cut foreign aid if you like but it isn't funding the war. Oh, and Social Security costs a little over 500 billion a year, so it isn't going to fund that either, not even close. This information is courtesy of the Congressional Budget Office.

As far as Alaskan oil reserves taking care of "this country's oil needs for decades to come," I went straight to the United States Geological Survey. They did a detailed study in 2002. I'm going to quote the study here..."What is reasonable to say is that (Alaska) could represent between 5 and 10 percent of our national production for a period of 20 to 30 years." So we are either going to have to finally embrace alternative energy or continue to bend over for the Mideast.

I always thank soldiers when I see them. I bought a huge round for some just the other night.

I think the greatest thing we can do for them is to be realistic about our country and our government. Is this one of the greatest places to live in the world? Absolutely. Should we get so wrapped up in jingoism that we can't question our government and declare it wrong when it is? Absolutely not. When we tell people who disagree to "get out" then you are left with a citizenry who blindly goes along with whatever its government asks. This is how our brave young men and women end up getting killed in an ill-conceived war.

I would love to see Hankey or anyone else attempt to argue that this war was not "ill-conceived."

It's not the war folks ...

Go back and look at our foreign policy in the region. Start, oh say, in 1945. Look at the US role in both Iran and Iraq. Look at what the strategic role of the United States has been in the Persian Gulf.

Here's a hint: It started out as something OTHER than oil.

Here's a gem (and another hint): Pickup a copy of Gen. Norman H. Schwarzkopf's Autobiograpy It Doesn't Take A Hero. Read about his childhood in IRAN (yes, IRAN).

Don't worry ... I won't queue the Jeopary Theme Music while I wait for folks to research and reply.

Are you talking about the initial involvement with the Iranians for strategic reasons i.e. supply lines, proximity to USSR?? I know there was mucho propping of the Shah. How exactly are you tying all of this together?

If we are going to get all the way into Iranian controlled Azerbaijan then I'm going to have to pull out old notes. It's been a few years since that class.

My notes are at home, but I'll pull them out this afternoon. I associate Ajax with the propping of the Shah, but let me Google. Operation Ajax from Wikipedia, which I don't like to use as a source, but it's time for lunch:

"In the 1953 Iranian coup d'état, the United Kingdom and the United States orchestrated the overthrow of the democratically-elected administration of Prime Minister Mohammed Mosaddeq and his cabinet from power. The support of the coup was carried out, using widespread bribery[1] in a covert operation by Kermit Roosevelt, Jr. for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). According to a report on the BBC, Britain, motivated by its desire to control Iranian oil fields, contributed to funding for the widespread bribery of Iranian officials, news media and others. The project to overthrow Iran's government was codenamed Operation Ajax (officially TP-AJAX).[2] The coup re-installed Mohammad Reza Pahlavi in the primary position of power."

So, where does that leave us?

The Clinton Administration is old news too, Hankey, but if we don't pay attention, history has a tendency to repeat itself.

It's already like that Bill Murray movie "Groundhog Day" around here. "Bush ... Clinton ... Bush ... Clinton ... "

OMG! Somebody stop the insanity!!
