Being a resident of the Pendleton (area). I have to wonder what would be worse, to finish this and deal with it's problems or to leave this eyesore for an example of what not to do.. (tours anyone)?

I personally don't have to like the looks of a building for it to be useful, but in the Pendleton Project we don't have the chance for either.

Maybe later they can surround it with FISH, install swings and make it an Art playground.

This post is in reference to the original Topic Managing Andersons Growth quote above taken from.
I was driving by the Pendleton Station Project today, same as I do a couple of times a week and thought the readers of this blog may be intrested in seeing the talked about Pendleton Station. Several Photos taken from the public roadway.

It looks like one of those wild west ghost towns. Maybe we can turn it into a giant urban paintball course.

Hey, has anyone thought about something like a ghost town in the sky. Tourism I say make it a tourist trap. I can see it now, country and western gun fights, great country music, fireworks and lots of children. Hey, I like that idea.

One day after the City elections and it seems to be a slow day for cocklebur posters.

I thought I would pull up this topic that we had about 9 months ago for some update.

I passed by the Pendleton Station site yesterday and there is a lot of work being done.
Dozens of people were on the site working on the existing buildings, the grounds and a new building at the rear of the complex.

At the time of the original post I took pictures of what looked like a ghost town.
Today is totally different.
Sorry I don't have pictures at this time to share.

The original http:// to the pictures is no longer available sorry
